One of the largest and most famous thermal baths in Europe, Budapest’s Széchenyi Thermal Baths (Széchenyi Gyógyfürdo) are one of Hungary's most visited attractions. Soaking in the mineral-rich waters, with startling blue pools set against the backdrop of a grand neo-baroque palace, is a quintessential Budapest experience. It’s also a luxurious one, especially when coupled with a visit to the spa, which offers everything from saunas and mudpacks to rejuvenating massages and balneal therapies.

worth to explore
The hot pool main area was perfect, indoor thermals were crowded , maybe they need more cleaning, but in general it was fun..

Very relaxing
Very clean all round, lovely differing water temperatures throught the pools. Areas not overcrowded and a good variety of outdoor and indoor pools, very relaxing environment

Lovely but very busy
The beer spa experience is fun and you are very well looked after during it. Finding where to enter the building is difficult, so definitely research beforehand (it’s not the main entrance so don’t queue!!). The spa itself is lovely but very busy and a little tired. We enjoyed it, but the amount of people could be quite stressful for some. We didn’t get to sample some of the steam rooms and saunas because they were too full.
