This was the highlight of our stay in Buenos Aires! Franco who runs the course, is a friendly, knowledgeable and highly charismatic chef who cultivates a fun and relaxed atmosphere for the entire duration. The course lasted over 3.5 hours and included plenty of food and wine. Some of the highlights were making empanadas from scratch, as well as Chimichurri sauce. It's a very professionally run experience and I would certainly recommend for anyone looking to get immersed in Argentinian food culture along with a nice lunch!

This was a great afternoon of learning to cook, with friends, good food, and lots of fun information. The guide managed the class SUPER well, making sure everyone was up to par on what was going on. He offered great suggestions of things to do in the city, as well as having a great cooking class. Definitely do this one!

The host/chef was absolutely incredible. He was so funny and welcoming which made the class so enjoyable. He walked us through the history of the dishes we made before we got started and then gave us so many food/bar recommendations after we had lunch. We had an amazing group as well. Everyone was so nice and interactive.
So much fun

This was a memorable experience! It felt less like a cooking class and more of a fun, sociable experience learning new dishes with friends.

This was a great way, and time to experience Argentina. We spent 4 hours learning to make and savor several staples of Buenos Aires. There was six in our class, and had such a wonderful time getting to know one another, Francesco the instructor made the whole day interesting.

Cooking class with a little history and a lot of fun
Sumitra_M, Dec 2022
Franco was knowledgeable and helpful and so fun to work with. We always try to find a local cooking class when we travel internationally, and this was the best one we’ve done by far. We have two teen boys, and keeping them interested isn’t always easy - this cooking class did the trick. We are also vegetarian, and we were paired with some people who weren’t, and all the food worked well for all diets. Along the way, we also got some history lessons about Argentina and the different foods in the country. Finally, from the pictures, it looked like this class was in an apartment. It’s not. The location has moved to a cute shop on the street with a spacious kitchen and dining room. Would 100% recommend!
Entertainment with food and wine!

Cooking, history, food and wine. It could not have been more fun! Book this at the beginning of your stay in Buenos Aires so you're equipped with all of the great food and restaurant recommendations for the rest.

My Brazilian friend and I (USA) met up in BA for a reunion from being roommates in Brazil in 1986! I was on a “research trip” for all things EMPANADA!! What a great experience with lots of great information, lovely kitchen, and delicious recipes! Empanadas scream ARGENTINA! We screamed a lot! Hugs, EMPANADA MAMA
Let's Eat!

I am just returning from Buenos Aires and I cannot get this experience out of my mind. I loved every bit of cooking with Franco. He allowed us to prepare are meal while giving us a historical understanding of the food in which we prepared. It was delicious! If you want to take something home with you, the knowledge of preparing an authentic Argentine meal is absolutely recommended. It will definitely help you keep the memory of your visit alive. Thank you for the experience!
