First of all, Saul, our instructor is warm, friendly and has a great sense of humor and he’s very passionate about cooking. We made beef empanadas, delicious steak with chimichurri sauce, potatoes and dessert with dulce de leche, cream and rum. The instruction was clear and hands on. Recipes also provided. We highly recommend cooking with Saul!

Saul is a great teacher and uses the most simple ingredients that you can replicate at home wherever you live. I honestly was shocked at how delicious everything turned out with such simple ingredients! He has a great work area for many students and is very nice welcoming place! I highly recommend you try this class to get the Argentine style of cooking. You will be happy you did!

Our favorite night in Buenos Aires!

A must-do while in Buenos Aires! We felt like we went over a friend's house for dinner. Saul is a great instructor but more importantly, he is a great host! We had the best time learning about local Argentinian cuisine and cooking practices, making empanadas by hand, and learning Saul's tips and tricks. The food and wine were absolutely delicious! Would definitely recommend for your trip!

We had an incredible experience, cooked some great food and got to spend time with Saul to hear more about Argentina and his life there. The cooking class was great! A nice environment and a professional teacher. Procedures and related information were well explained. It was fun to learn how to make empanadas, a beef and an ice-cream with dulce de leche. Of course, it was a good experience to enjoy the food I cooked together with cheese and red wine prepared by the teacher. Highly recommend the class.

When i travel I usually plan a couple activities outside the city and some event inside the city. I did a cooking class in Barcelona so I wanted to do one in Buenos Aires with Empanadas. I submitted for other classes but couldn't find any open seats with groups so I had to sign up for a private class which was more expensive but I guess it turned out well as I got more private attention. I arrived a little late with traffic so when I arrived I was rushing to get inside. We still sat and he asked me some questions and we talked for a few before we got started. I received a good insight into the food and ingredients and details about each ingredient. We made about 25 empanadas along with a steak roast and oven roasted potatoes and dulce la leche frozen dessert. Everything came out delicious and I had some to take with me. We sampled some wine along with dinner as well. Overall it was a great experience and one I can recommend so take a break from sight seeing.

Saul’s patient and thorough instruction definitely inspired us to try cooking an Argentine meal when we get home, it what made our evening especially memorable was the delicious food that we shared after making it and the great company with whom we ate. Jessica, Saul’s helper, was really lovely and seemed to anticipate every need, and Saul himself explained each step perfectly as we prepared the meal. And then there was the food.....my mouth waters at the thought of it: of course, empanadas, but also the most exquisite meat, seared and then baked covered with chimichurri. We also had homemade rustic sourdough bread, some choripan, crispy potato wedges, and for dessert, something that I know I will fix often at home. Because I don’t want to give the secret of how easy and tasty it is, I will just say that it is made with dulce de leche. ‘Nuff said. Fabulous evening.
