Your tour starts with pickup at your hotel or at the marina in Cabo San Lucas, where you hop aboard the Buccaneer Queen pirate ship. Meet the crew, and listen to a brief introduction about the area and the whales you are likely to see—humpback and gray whales.
Then set off, heading toward the rock formations and past Lover's Beach, the Arch of Cabo San Lucas, and a sea lion colony. Your captain stops for a bit so you can take photos before speeding up as you make your way into the Pacific Ocean and Sea of Cortez. Keep your eyes peeled for the whales who visit these Mexican waters each year to breed, and listen to commentary from an onboard guide about the behaviors and other characteristics of the animals.
While you cruise, enjoy a provided breakfast and drinks from the open bar. Your tour ends with return to your original departure point.

This tour was well organized from reception to the end. We were well informed of what to expect they provided breakfast on board befor leaving ov pancakes scrambled eggs bacon retried beans and nachos including fruit and orange juice. The bar was open from the start. We saw 3 grey whales they were baying and jumping out of the water which we were told was a rarity. The crew were so very excited to see this too!!

The novelty of Wale watching with a group of pirates made it a fun day. We took the early tour and we were treated to a delicious Mexican breakfast. Hot coffee, open bar, music, tour guide and crew provided a great service.
And yes we saw a wale.!!!

Started the trip with a pair of tired, cranky kids. After a great breakfast, a lot of time watching a whale calf play, and a dance party we ended the trip with ecstatic young pirates.

This was a trip that didn't disappoint. We got to see multiple whales passing through in a fairly short time. The crew was lively and entertaining. The food was also delicious. My 4-year-old and 2-year-old enjoyed themselves tremendously.

Our grandchildren enjoyed the ship and especially the interaction with the crew (especially the dancing.) We saw some baby whales with their mama so that was a fun thing to watch. Boat was pretty crowded and we hung out by the arch for too long. Breakfast was excellent.

The pirate ship was like any other whale watching experience. It would have been nice if the staff were dressed up or they did some pirate-themed performance. And be careful around the staff serving breakfast. One in particular is really mean and got mad at me for trying to help my son request pancakes.

The tour guide didn't give clear instructions on the meeting time beforehand and didn't warn us about the tough parking situation near the meeting spot. They only said 'you can do Vallet parking' which wasn't helpful at all. For a firstcomer to that area, the very difficult parking situation made us 5 minutes late and the ship left without us. We booked many other tours and their tour guides were very clear and helpful so we never missed any other tours. That is not the case with this company. They refused to refund and do any compensation. It ruined the first day of our trip.

Captain Shark & crew made this experience absolutely informative & fun!!! We celebrated our birthdays & they had cake & tequila shots for us. They also made sure we saw whales! Absolutely the best adventure we had in Cabo!!!🌞

The pirates were amazing hosts! Very interactive and fun. Enjoyed the breakfast. We were able to track a mother and baby whale 🐋 which breached several times.
Only downside was there was no one at the gate to tell us where to check in. We stood around for 10 minutes before being directed to the check in area. We ended up being last to board!

This was a great tour with a good breakfast included of scrambled eggs, beans, fruit, orange juice or coffee, and unlimited open bar drinks. The guides were fun and knowledgeable, and we saw several whales during the 2 hour trip.
Be sure to take tip money for the crew!
