Great tour to Chichen Itza
Martha_N, Apr 2024
Our driver and tour guide were awesome! The tour was amazing Customer service was a bit lacking from the communication as they canceled the original tour and moved us to an upgraded tour but didn't have us on the upgraded list. A bit of a pain. It all worked out by our guide.
A trip worth doing
Gary_O, Feb 2024
Long day but very much worth it Raymondo our guide was funny and very informative and Eric our driver was also very professional and courteous too. As for the sites we visited no words can describe how much we enjoyed our experiences although as usual never enough time when you're having such a wonderful time .Food was good (we didn't choose plus option, in hindsight we should have as no food stops were planned besides lunch ) Hope this helps As with all trips the locals will always try to make you buy from them but a nice " no gracias" is appreciated no aggressive sales If you're into culture you will thoroughly enjoy the day highly recommend this trip and company very professional in communication making the whole day stress free
Way less time than advertised
Rolando_Z, Mar 2020
Even though the tour mentions 3 hours for Chichen and another 3 hours for Coba, it was just 1:30 on each site. The guide was nice but lacked a bit of knowledge, the driver was nice and helpful.
Best Transportation and a Great Guide.
Jim_T, Mar 2020
The Mercedes Sprinter used for this trip was the most comfortable of our tours. Our guide, Lily, was very animated, fun to listen to and very well informed about the ruins visited. The tour is a little squeezed for time at the ruins, but we got to see most of each site and took lots of pictures. Coba is the more picturesque, sitting amid the encroaching jungle, but Chichen Itza is a 'seven-wonders' location for good reason and Lily pointed out the perspective to view the location of the solstice shadow the main structure is famous for . The Ik Kil cenote swim is fun but there is a crowd to contend with and this is the most developed of all the cenotes we visited. Great food at the restaurant at Ik Kil, too. I would bring friends on this tour.
Great tour

We only had a couple days and this tour was perfect to see as much as you can in one day. It did feel a bit rushed, but we knew that going into it (3 stops in one day?!). Tour guide and driver were both wonderful. Transportation was nice, clean, and air conditioned.

URI and Mikey did a great job driving us and explaining all about the history. Had a great day!! So glad we booked this trip!
A good day

I am sure people with interest in anthropology will find this trip very informative and interesting. But the size of Chichen Itza was bit underwhelming. Overall I am happy that I joined this tour.
Amazing day with a great guide
Ed J, Nov 2019
Everything went according to plan. Had 9 people in my group so it was easy to get around and not have to always wait on a bunch of stragglers. Van was comfortable enough for the long rides and our guide was great and gave us lots of little tidbits of info. Lunch was good with plenty of options on a buffet and plenty of time to sit and relax.
Amazing day

Spectacular Day!

Yuri was our host and was amazing. He was super informative, kept a good schedule so that got everything in and made sure we enjoyed ourselves. The day was amazing!
miserable, miserable day
meganc9150, Oct 2019
Let me start by saying my review has absolutely nothing to do w/ the tour guide, but more with the tour company. Everything that went wrong was out of the control of our guide Enrique. We were picked up promptly at 7:15 as we were told the night before. Picked up in a spacious Mercedes van, lots of room, AC working & great condition. Driven to a gas station & swapped to a much smaller van w/ much more people in it. The van had 12 seats, w/ 12 people + bags, no room to move. Enrique began the tour by stating it would be a bilingual tour when we signed up for an English tour. There was 1 couple that spoke Spanish so I’m not sure why the tour had to be catered to them, they should’ve been swapped to another group. We were offered water & bananas early on & off we went. The van was absolutely packed full, & we were stuck in the back with another couple. The AC didn’t reach all the way to the back & it was over 2 hrs to our first stop. Absolutely miserable. Chichen itza was really wonderful, everything I expected it to be. We got there early to avoid the lines & we were heading out just as it really got busy. Enrique provided tons of info, interesting facts & was more than happy to answer any questions & take some pictures. After 2ish hours at chichen it was time to go to ik kil. We were so looking forward to ik kil, the sheer beauty of the place not too mention needing to cool down after being in the hot Mexican sun for so long. Ik kil was so absolutely crammed full you couldn’t even get down the stairs to even think about swimming. We were given 1.5 hrs here to swim & eat. Disappointed we made our way to the restaurant for a buffet lunch since we couldn’t swim. The lunch was delicious but again people were crammed in tight, barely room to move & it was super dark in the restaurant. I almost couldn’t tell what I was eating. We were given 1.5 hrs here, 30 mins walking around & eating & spent the other hour waiting to go. I wish there was a limit to how many tours can come here, we’ll never be able to come back & weren’t able to take advantage of its beauty. Next back into the hot hot van for a 1.5 hr drive to coba, coba was great. Perfect amount of time, we rode the rickshaw to the ruins for $125 pesos and got to climb to the top wonderful! This company needs to be more concerned w/ the comfort of its guests, half the day is spent in the van. We couldn’t move, we couldn’t breathe, just crammed in tight sweating. We will never book w/ this company again. The only saving grace was how compassionate our guide Enrique was. He’s one of the good ones, and I’d recommend him to anyone.
Great excursion
KittyKatt73, Aug 2019
We got to see three of the most remarkable places. Guide was knowledgeable and curious. Be prepared for lots of walking and climbing!! This is not an activity that is slow either. The ride to Chichen Itza is 2 hours long, and the roads are not smooth. Do not expect a smooth ride. This is an adventure, embrace it! I highly recomend this excursion for those that want to embrace Mexico in the raw and it's history.
Chichen Itza, Cenote Ik Kil and Coba Ruins from Cancun
Alex M, May 2019
Learned quite a bit of the ruin history that we were not aware of. Yri was a very good guide. Lot of driving but worth knocking out in one day. Cenote swim was very welcome break and quite refreshing in between the two sets of ruins.
Great day out ,if short on time
Flyer08191721987, Apr 2019
We did not have much time for long visits to these attractions so this trip was ideal for us. Our guide, george, was fabulous, very informative, nothing was too much trouble for him. We felt well looked after all day. So if you want a packed day out with loads of interesting facts, this is the tour for you.
Chitchen Itza tour

Awesome tour! I highly recommend it. SERGIO, our tour guide was amazing, kind, and had a wealth of knowledge about the ruins!
Good Tour
Taylor_M, Dec 2018
Carmen, our tour guide was very knowledge and friendly. We ended up getting a private tour which allowed us to get a tour catered to what we wanted to see. The Coba Ruins were amazing, we had more freedom to explore the area and do more activities, whereas at Chichen Itza we felt like we spent the entire time talking about all of the symbolism and science behind the ruins then actually seeing all of the areas to explore. Overall, it was a great tour and highly recommend it.
At first glance when the site noted...
Phillis D, Mar 2018
At first glance when the site noted this was a 12 hour tour I was a little hesitate to book it because I have an attention span of a gnat. But I'm glad I took a chance. Around 4 hours of that time is the drive back and fourth and we spent just the right amount of time at each location. We also arrived in Chichen Itza early which allowed us to beat the crowd and the heat because we left before the hottest point of the day. Went to lunch. Had a refreshing dip in the Cenote and ended our day in the shaded area of Coba. Sergio was our guide and he was amazing, extremely knowledgeable and delight to be around.
My husband and I loved this tour...
Olena O, Feb 2018
My husband and I loved this tour. Our guide Sergio did an excellent job!! He was very helpful during all trip and unswered all questions that we had. Swimming in a cave was fan really recommend not to skip it, cave is 50m deep!!!!! But you can rent a live vest for only 1.88USD and enjoy it. Sergio also had water, juice and snacks so no need to bring a lot of heavy staff with you. Wear a comfy shoes, you will walk a lot. I really loved this tour!!!

This trip was incredible. I highly recommend it to anyone who is thinking about how they are going to jam so many cool things into one day. It was highly organized, the guides were professional and extremely knowledgable, and we got to see so much. It was very reasonably priced, especially for everything we got to see and experience.
