Although the vessels look old-world, they are thoroughly modern, with up-to-date sound and video systems and air-conditioned areas. The included dinner comprises lobster, chicken, steak, or a surf-and-turf combo, as well as vegetables, salad, baked potato, rice, and dessert. Ships depart daily at 7pm; be at the marina 45 minutes before departure to check in. Expect to return to land around 10:30pm. As with most Cancun attractions, Captain Hook cruises are busiest December to April and on weekends. You may want to avoid the area during hurricane season (May to December).
