  • Carriages can accommodate up to 16 passengers.
  • Children 2 years and under are free but must sit on the lap of a parent or guardian. You always have the option of purchasing a seat for your child.
  • Please check-in 15-minutes prior to your scheduled tour time. Failure to do so may result in your reservation being delayed to a later time.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Luke was a terrific guide and Boeing was a great horse, not scared at all by traffic. Luke had many anecdotes about Charleston and really knew the history.

The tour guide was very entertaining. And I thought being in the carriage I better enjoyed the pace of the tour. The pickup went well. There was a minor wait but that was because they were wrangling the horses.

It was fine but $190 was a little much for what it was for 4 people. The tour guide was nice but not super entertaining. He knew the history but it was a lot about real estate and how expensive everything is now.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable but he didn’t wear a headset to amplify his voice. When he turned around to direct the horse , you missed what he was saying.

Eric was entertaining and knowledgeable in Charleston history. Loved getting acquainted with Blue Deuce, the draft horse! Understand the need for the lottery system for route choice, but would have liked to see the Battery area and hear about the beautiful houses.
