    Engaging, Thorough Tour of Charleston

Eric Lager, Ph.D., provided an engaging, thorough tour. He explained the history of the people and places that make up The Holy City, and further described the architecture of Charleston's buildings, churches and the well-heeled community South of Broad. The tour's length -- nearly three hours -- speaks both to its value and to Eric's ability to hold everyone's interest for the duration of an event that proved to be the highlight of the trip.
    Great experience

Eric is an amazing tour guide!! The small group made it so we could always hear him at every stop, and he managed to make the tour personable to us as well. We felt very lucky for the depth of knowledge and interconnectedness to the community that Eric possessed. Eric even brought us to places, pointed out things that other tours would normally skip. Highly recommended !
    Highly informative tour, recommend!

My husband and I participated in this historical walking tour and absolutely loved it. Our tour guide clearly is an expert in historical Charleston and was kind and thoughtful as he navigated us throughout the city. I appreciated the small group size and am going to recommend this tour to my friends who visit in the future.

Wonderful tour. I learned a lot. About 1 1/2 miles long with lots of stops. My 70 year old mother was able to do it without any trouble. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful tour! Erik provided a wealth of information about the history of Charleston that I doubt we could have received anywhere else. He was personable, engaging, and showed us many spots we never would have seen on our own. We loved the small group size as well. Highly recommend!

An Excellent Tour with an Extremely Personable and Knowledgeable Guide

Had a great time on this tour. The guide obviously loves history and imparts his knowledge with facts and interesting information. Visits areas other tours do not. By limiting his tour to 12 people he is able to interact with the participants and answer questions easily. Makes an effort to get to know his group and tailor comments towards any interests. Highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in the history of Charleston.
    A Great Introduction to Charleston
