Fun ghost tour. Lots of history with a little spooky added in! Wear comfy, supportive shoes. Uneven sidewalks.

I am glad you liked the smaller group! Many of the ghost tours take 20 people. I will max out at 14-16 as both the tour guide and guests usually have a better experience.

This was my second ghost tour with Adam. I went last year with friends and brought family back this year. He is a very engaging guide and knows his history! He was very informative, and the 90 minutes flew by. We loved the photos!

We loved our tour with Adam. The stories he shared were full of history. Loved that he shared photos with us. We enjoyed talking with him after the tour about his personal experience. I was able to take my own photo that we now question a ghost appearance.

Adam was great! Funny & highly entertaining! Great historical facts & stories. Not as scary as walking in the graveyards listening to “ghost stories” but more detailed history of spooky & dark themes in Charleston history. Highly recommend !

I was expecting something spooky for a ghost tour. However, it was all history presented like a memorized ramble. The tour was around one block and stopped every few minutes for one of his never-ending stories. We left halfway through because we could not take it any longer.

Hey There. I remember you quite well. Before the tour started you asked me in front of the group if you were going to see a ghost tonight (but it wasn't in a joking manner like others do)? I explained that this is called a "Dark History & Ghost Tour" where I tell stories from history and show a few ghost photos but this was in no way a Ghost-hunting experience. During the tour, I do briefly talk about slavery and the Civil War. I recall you asking me the question " so where did all the slaves come from?" But you asked the question right after I had just talked about slavery....I found it very perplexing you would ask that after I had just explained it. It was shortly after that question is when you decided to walk off the tour. The tour actually covers 5 blocks and the rest of the group enjoyed the tour so much that they gave me a round of applause at the end (that doesn't always happen but it's nice when it does). That's too bad you hated it so much to walk off and then write a 1-star review but that's how it goes sometimes!

Adam was a great guide and really knows the history of the area! It's most definitely the best value walking tour you could pick, and the smaller group size is really nice. The ghost stories are fun and our favorite part was how much we learned about the history of the city going back to the start.

Adam was great! He was very enthusiastic, knowledgeable, fun, and a good storyteller! He kept my and my teenagers’ attention the whole time, showed fascinating photos, and took us to very interesting places. The tour was not too long to walk in the heat, either. I highly recommend his tour, and his small business, and it was even cheaper than many of the other ones in town. There were many other groups touring in the area at the same time, but their guides didn’t seem nearly as into it as Adam. Five stars hands down!
