On arrival at the Lincoln Park indoor skydiving facility, you’ll greet your instructor, put on your skydiving gear, and get a detailed safety briefing and training session.
Once you feel confident about floating in the 1,400-horsepower tunnel, you’ll be ready to feel the adrenaline of your skydive simulation.
You’ll head inside the flight chamber and wait for the operator to slowly increase the wind speed up to 180 miles per hour (290 kilometers per hour) until you’re floating mid-air as if you’d just jumped out of a plane.
Once you’ve finished both of your flights, you’ll receive your personalized skydiving certificate.

- Confirmation will be received at time of booking
- If you have previous neck, back, heart, injuries or shoulder dislocations, are pregnant or wearing a hard cast - you will not be able to fly.
- Not wheelchair accessible
- Children under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign their waiver
- It is recommended that you wear well-fitting, lace-up sneakers or running shoes and comfortable clothes

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

A:A vertical wind tunnel has fans at the top to draw air through the flight chamber and then push it back down the sides. The air is then compressed & sped up before it reenters the flight chamber causing a smooth column of air that enables you to fly.

A:Generally, a group of up to 12 guests fly in each session. Your friends and family will be part of the same group, however, you will fly one at a time in the flight chamber one-on-one with your instructor.

A:Each flight within the wind tunnel lasts 60 seconds. The entire iFLY first-time flyer experience takes approx. 1 hour and 30 minutes from start to finish.

A:Generally, no. There’s no jumping, no falling, and no experience is needed. You simply float on a column of air. There is no sensation of falling or anything that would make you feel motion sickness.

A:Not at all. It is the same as if you stick your head out a car window while driving. All you feel is the wind in your face. Just breathe normally, either through your mouth or your nose.

do NOT use Viator to book. they did not get me a reservation and over charged me. my experience with Ifly and how they handled not having a reservation for me was amazing

Being overcharged 20% by Viator over the normal skydiving charges the facility charges. I wish more consumers knew how you overcharged people.

This was a fun experience. In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we bought some additional flights while there to use at a different time. The staff was super friendly and clearly excited with their jobs making us feel very welcome. It is a definitely a different experience from jumping out of a plane not only because you do not have the extreme height sensation, but you actually experience a much longer "free-fall" allowing you to do more tricks and than you would jumping out of a plane.

Joe at the front desk is highly professional, knowledgeable and joyful. He’s perfect for his job! It was the first time for everyone in our group. Our instructor, Tommy, was thorough, patient and a calming influence. David controlled the air flow and offered tips and directions for a more comfortable flight. Definitely book the high flight!!!
