Baylor was a phenomenal guide!! Took the time to answer all questions and explain the rich Chicago Mob history! Baylor gave great recommendations as well. Definitely one of my favorite tours!

Thank you to Ty for a great couple of hours learning about Chicago's colorful past. Lots of information and interesting stories mixed with a nice sampling of food. Would recommendas a way to spend an afternoon in Chicago.

We had a blast learning about the history of Chicago gangs and stopping to eat on the way. Alan was knowledgeable and engaging. He had all the answers to any questions my kids had to ask. Great steak, awesome pizza experience and very cool hotdogs, too. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Chicago! Be ready for a nice walk!

Excellent fun tour, Ty was super entertaining and knowledgeable. He was happy to answer any questions we had . The food was also delicious and it was interesting to learn about the history of the underbelly of Chicago. Definitely recommend!

Our tour guide, Avery, did a great job. He was engaging and knew his stuff. I highly recommend this tour as it is a great way to learn about some of Chicago’s sordid history on gangsters as well as enjoying great Chicago food and the history behind that as well. Walking tours are very dependent on the guide being great and he definitely was - kudos!

The tour was so much fun. Ty was informative and entertaining and so personable. The food stops along the way provided a true taste of Chicago classic foods and with a full slice of deep dish pizza and a whole Chicago hot dog and a nice taste of filet, you won’t leave hungry!
Educational but don’t go for the food

Ty was a fantastic guide and so informative. We really enjoyed learning and walking through different parts of the city. We would say that the quality of the food wasn’t that great. The steak is super small (4 bites - but delicious), our pizza was cold (you get a 1/4 of a personal pan pizza) and the hot dog was ok. Worth doing but at a lower price point

Great tour! Taylor was on time and the meeting point was very easy to find. She was very knowledgeable in n Chicago history and pointed out many points of gangster history. Food was a sampling of great Chicago local favorites.

Baylor was a great guide! The food was really good, the food stops were the traditional foods that you want to try in Chicago. The gangster stories were interesting and you see the actual locations.

The last minute switch of guides seemed to frazzle Ty a bit. He was a nice man, but seemed nervous (could have been the Red Bull he downed at the beginning of the tour). We’ve done food tours in multiple cities and this was poorest. The food wasn’t very good or interesting. The gangster tunnel was a room at the bottom the restaurant but you can’t see anything. Lots of gangster stories, but not much to ground them too, like seeing the buildings or places of real significance.

At the second stop we waited to be seated for over 20 min then had to wait another 40 minutes to bring the pizza. We had a group of 6 and they ran out of pizza so 4 in our group had to split pieces. The downtime was not filled with history or information. We love food and history tours and unfortunately this was the worst one we have ever taken.
