      Pickup details

      Pick up & drop off is at Marti Sports on Rafael Melgar across from El Cid Hotel. Please be aware that you may be coming from a different time zone. Cozumel does not follow day light savings so half the year we are on EST and the other half is CST. So March-November (spring & summer) Cozumel is CST and November-March (fall & winter) is EST. The cruise ships should be using our local time for the time of arrival to the island. You may also see your cruise ships time of arrival using our cruise ship schedule, and the link is provided below Your cruise ship itinerary is based on our local time. For example, if your cruise ship says it will be docking in Cozumel at 8AM, that is local time, and if your meeting time is 8:30AM local time, you will have 30 minutes to get to your meeting point. All meeting points are very close and within walking distance of the cruise pier area.

      We enjoyed seeing the island. The tour would be better if the tour guide provides information/facts as he drives so that we learn more about the island.

      Our tour guide was amazing! Very nice and friendly. He accompanied to use and ensured we arrived back on the cruise ship on time.
      Good beach tour; skip the tequila stop.

      Our guide, Gizmo, was very knowledgeable but hard to hear due to not having a microphone on the bus. He was very accomodating when we requested anything. The beaches on the east side of the island were beautiful and the best part of the tour. On the downside, the first stop at the Tequileria Reyes was not as advertised. It was billed as an educational event covering the making of tequila and chocolate. We have attended similar talks in the past that were comprehensive. The Cozumel experience was disappointing as it was nothing more than a bit of tasting and a sales pitch. Ryan rushed our presentation as he wanted to move on to a larger group that showed up and might buy more. Viator should find a better venue for tequila and chocolate as this one fell far short of expectations. It is basically a sales pitch. The rest of the tour was quite pleasant and worth the money.

      The lady with one arm at the Mayan experience - real dedication. The tour was late starting, and we had a change of vehicle and group numbers. Then had to wait for said other members to finish their frites etc!! Felt like it catered more to them than us.

      Felipe was a great guide. Knowledgeable, personable and very helpful. We loved learning about the Mayan culture and the dancers were terrific. We really enjoyed the tequila tasting!! The beaches were spectacular.

      To begin, our tour started 40 minutes delayed. They have us a complimentary drink to make up for it at lunch. We were a total of 5 people in our group which was nice but the vehicle they took us in had the air conditioning broken. Luckily it was a cooler day. They also did not take us to all places listed on the tour. We did the tequila tasting, 2 beaches and lunch. Our tour guide, Jose was very nice. The lunch was good but bring cash because the restaurant has no electricity to pay with a credit card.

      First off Alejandro was awesome!!! Very knowledgeable and just an all around nice guy. The beaches were very nice. We weren’t aware but you can snorkel. I rented a kayak for $15 for the entire day. The area to paddle is pretty limited. We arrived before the tour bus. The beach was pretty empty. It was great. We then drove along the coast and saw some incredible sights. Absolutely breathtaking. I hope I can post the pics. Alejandro took pics and sent them too us at no charge. We stopped at a couple of other coastal photo stops and a second beach. Again nothing was crowded. We then headed to the Mayan experience. This place is pretty small but it’s honestly a true taste of Mayan culture. You really felt immersed into the beliefs and respect of the earth. I was very glad to have this experience. FYI tips are appreciated at this experience and for your guide. I’ve been to Cozumel a few times but this felt more real. Honestly we are coming back in January and considering doing the same tour again. This time we will bring bathing suits. Lol

      Great tour guide - Godsphero was so nice. Knowledgeable about the island and its rich history. Highly recommended to take this tour. Tequila tasting was amazing...get the black coffee flavor! The beach was beautiful, nice and very clean. A few shops and vendors too.
