Old and new Dubai

Having hotel pick up and drop off made it so easy. The tour was a good overview of old and new Dubai and Fasil our guide was very personable and knowledgeable and made the tour enjoyable.

The tour brings you to The Point, Burj al Arab, Museum of the Future and the Blue Mosque. But you only can take pictures from outside. At the souk you get off the minibus and have 45 minutes to walk around by yourself. During the time in the bus our guide was telling a little bit about life in the Emirates that was the best part of the tour. All the stops at tour points you can do by taxi which is more individual. As taxis are cheap in Dubai that will cost you not more money.

I had a lay over in Dubai and went on this tour. It is a great tour to see some highlights if you have little time. The pickup was prompt and Saad is an excellent guide, who is very social, can give you nice facts and make you feel at ease. Please be aware that because of the packed program, it will be high paced (fast walking & limited time at each place). Also a personal tip: try to visit a few shops at the spices and gold souk/market before you commit to buy to compare the prices.

Discover Dubai with Hamza

We had an amazing tour with Hamza, he was very knowledgeable, telling us about the way of life in the past and the way it is currently, he shared information about the way Muslims practice their faith, we even dressed up and went into the blue mosque. We went to many places where we could take photos, wandered through the souks, went on a boat ride and went to an old part of Dubai and sampled some of their typical cultural food. Hamza had a great sense of humour which kept us laughing and made the tour fun, he was the best tour guide, he would also answer any questions we threw at him and he was very well organised. Would highly recommend this tour.

This tour was a great use of a half day in Dubai. PIck-up was prompt. Got to see the most important landmarks at least from a distance, enabling me to plan what to see in detail later in the day and the next day. We weren't able to get near the Burj Al Arab due to the roads being closed for an event, but everything else on the itinerary was covered quite nicely. Riz is personable and engaging, more than willing to take as many pictures as needed for the solo traveler. Getting to wear mosque-appropriate clothing on top was a special treat. Strongly recommended.
