Cruise Ship passenger are required to have their ticket voucher present and the Golf Cart pickup is located OUTSIDE the Grand Turk Cruise Terminal Main Gate Entrance. Directions: Make your way to the Taxi Stand Pickup area, you will than make your way through the parking lot, there you will see a red brick pathway leading outside the cruise terminal main entrance passing a security booth, there you will see our sign Drive GDT. (Walking Time Total of 5 minutes or less walk)
What To Expect
Walk directly off your cruise ship to the golf cart pick-up location just outside the Grand Turk cruise terminal, where you’ll be met by the staff to get you off and exploring in just minutes. Choose between a four- or six-passenger golf cart and pick up the complementary island map, then be on your way.
Zip around the island for a day or up to a week—you can choose the length of your rental to suit your travel itinerary—to take in the sights, shop, dine, or bask on the beach without the hassle of renting a car or finding taxis.
Set your own pace and course with this fully independent rental, sticking to the town center or striking out further afield to visit sights from the Grand Turk Lighthouse to the north to Boaby Rock Point to the south. Once your rental time comes to an end, top up the gas and enjoy easy drop-off directly at the cruise terminal.

- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Unfortunately the ship has reroute due to the weather condition so we did Not have a chance to use their service.

Carts were easy to find just by asking people as we walked threw the market area at the port. Off we went with a map. Covered practically the whole island in a couple hours. Lots of feral donkeys. Ocean views were spectacular. Had cart for whole day but we had enough in a couple hours. Cart functioned properly. Fun way to go where you want to go, when you want to go. Very relaxing.

Marron and his team were amazing! My cruise line made some adjustments to my excursion at uh last minute, and Marron was able to adjust and accommodate! He showed us around the town in his private vehicle as we followed in the golf cart. We truly felt like locals here! My son was ecstatic about the golf cart, but his father I think had the most fun as the driver. I would definitely recommend, and book with them again in the future! The cart was electric, so no need to fill up. Marron was waiting outside the cruise port to get us started- so we didn’t get lost. I thank you for making this experience one we will remember for a life time !

We decided to rent a golf cart to explore Grand Turk during a cruise stop over. We selected Drive GDT based on reviews we read on the various golf cart rental options. We’re glad we did. The rental process was easy and affordable, and the cart was in good condition.
The location is a bit of a hike from the cruise pier, but it was worth it for the cost-savings and good cart. After Grand Turk Duty Free, just walk northeast through the taxi pick-up and across the parking lot. At the north end of the lot, find and follow the reddish-brown sidewalk to the left. You’ll pass through a pedestrian gate with a security guard, and Drive GDT will be there on the right.
The agents were friendly and helpful. They had us skip refueling the cart and just paid $10 upon returning it to cover the gas. They also let us know the least expensive grocery store to buy apples and carrots for feeding the wild donkeys (turn right at the clock tower; GM Grocery on the right).
Important tips! In Grand Turk they drive on the left, so when you rent a golf cart, you will be driving it on the left side of the road. At roundabouts, you will be driving clockwise (not counter-clockwise). If wearing shorts, I recommend putting sunblock on your feet and legs. The golf carts do not have doors and your legs will get lots of sun.
We highly recommend Drive GDT! If we return to Grand Turk, we will certainly rent from them again.

The vendor is hard to find and there is no signage to indicate the vendor location. You have to leave the port grounds, where many other golf cart vendors bring the golf carts to the port parking lot.
