One of the best experiences we had ever had! My easy rider, Ming, was the life of the party but also made me feel very safe whilst driving. My partner’s driver was also fantastic. I definitely recommend getting an easy rider for the loop as the roads are tricky to navigate and the riders are experts (also gives you the opportunity to take in the views the whole way!) It was very very hot and sunny for our 3 day trip, so we’re glad that there were plenty of stops along the way for photos, short hikes, snacks, drinks , and even a boat ride. Make sure you bring some small notes with you so that you to make buying snacks and drinks easier - you also need to pay to use some of the bathrooms. You finish riding by about 5pm each day but there are plenty of evening activities - on night 1 we climbed up to a tower to watch the sunset, followed by a delicious dinner, games and karaoke, and on night 2 we went swimming in a waterfall followed by a night of karaoke and lots of happy water! The accommodation was far better than we expected - on night one we had a big room with a balcony and an amazing view in a hotel and night 2 we stayed in a local homestay which was less comfortable but a great experience. After 3 days our backs and bums were sore but we left with unforgettable memories. If, like me, you are feeling a bit nervous about books because you haven’t been on a motorbike before - don’t hesitate! The drivers make you feel so safe and after 10 mins of driving you will feel comfortable and confident on the bike! I was going to knock off one star for the horrible journey back to Hanoi after the tour but decided that was unfair. But just be warned that the bus isn’t particularly comfortable, the driving was very dangerous (I felt safer on the motorbike!), and the stop for food wasn’t particularly clean. The bus was also stopped by the police and we were left on the bus with the doors locked and zero communication from the driver for almost an hour. The driver left on a scooter to get documents that the police needed to check without letting us know. We were eventually moved to a different bus but the new driver didn’t know where to drop us so we just got off and walked. I suggest the Ha Giang Amazing tours look into using a different bus company in the future.

Definitely a trip of our lifetime!
Andy_T, Apr 2024
A must do! As a longtime traveller, this is one of the few rare experiences and will be a lifelong memory! This instantly is topping my list of all time travel adventures. My wife and I were looking forward to this weeks ahead of time (although most others in our group booked it just a few days before). Many of the comments we had seen were reflective of the bus trip to/from Ha Noi and now I know why, the bus certainly could have been better, but as they are subcontracted that is unlikely to change. For the actual tour, this company was great (especially our ez-riders! Both of them were named "Sing" - apparently there are 7 "Sing's" in the company). Our riders grew up in the mountains that we rode on, so they were very happy to show us around. As many others have mentioned, after a few minutes everyone seems to get more comfortable on their motorbikes and the day got started right away. They made sure to have stops (either viewpoints, convenience / rest stops, food, etc.) about every 30 minutes, the longest ride was maybe 45 minutes in one stretch. Between the variety of stops and astounding scenery, the day flew by and everyone was tired and excited to reach the hotel for our first night. This hotel was amazing, extremely clean, great views, great staff, no complaints at all. We headed into the local town for dinner / breakfast (the "local" food was definitely catered to a western audience), but this trip was about riding on the back of the motorbikes. Everyone agreed that there was always too much food and we didn’t need that much food on the table every single time. After breakfast, day 2 was off to a downpour, but even riding in the rain was a fun / unique experience. Our drivers made sure to take care of us and made sure we were protected from the rain. We didn’t even get wet! I wish the views would have been a little more clear, but we are already planning to go back and do it again! We were on the 3-day route and day 2 was our favorite, the scenery was breath-taking despite the morning rain. You become very aware that these villages have not had a lot of tourism influence and you were truly experiencing the Northern Vietnam countryside almost untouched by modern society. That evening was a homestay in a small village, rooms were "open air" but each bed had a mosquito net available. We went to the waterfall / swimming hole in the afternoon as well, but the highlight was certainly the dinner / party with all our drivers, as this was the last night together. Being a small village, the karaoke was shut down at 10pm to not bother the locals. Day 3 also had amazing views, despite being bittersweet that the trip was coming to a close. We enjoyed every last minute of the ride and made great connections with our drivers. I know each experience is different, but they really made all the difference. Each ez-rider put effort in to connect with us and make sure everyone was safe, happy, comfortable, etc. While it may be the same at some other companies, we definitely saw groups from other companies that did not get the same treatment. I would highly recommend both this company and experience, it is a must do!
Please book this tour, you wont regret it!

Choosing this trip was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! An absolutely fantastic experience with a top tier company. After passing many tour groups it was clear this is the most professional, well organised and managed team. Lovely, enthusiastic riders, beautiful views and great food!
Amazing experience, highly recommend!

Incredible experience

An incredible experience. Easily 10/10 and the highlight of our vietnam trip. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating.
Highlight of our Vietnam trip! :)
Carmen_T, Mar 2024
Shoutout to our easy riders, Slowly, Minh, and Panda (nickname) for making the trip memorable! Slowly was our lead guide and my easy rider throughout the trip. I felt safe with him leading the group and driving the loop despite the foggy weather. At one point, the dense fog caused extreme low visibility, but he drove slowly and made sure everyone in the group was together. Slowly was also very accommodating and let us stop to take photos and to stretch our legs. He and the other easy riders made sure we had everything and took care of us from the moment we stepped off the bus to the moment we stepped back on. Ha Giang is easily the best part of our trip because of our guides, the stunning views, and the other guides who you have a chance to interact with. The scenery is magnificent, even when the weather does not cooperate and you have a chance to socialize with other tourists as well. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys connecting with other people, and seeing another side of Vietnam. Everyone was friendly, and we already plan on going back. To anyone hesitating to join, just do it! You will not regret it.
Great experience with an amazing easy rider
Lucas_Z, Mar 2024
The tour was great. We were a little unlucky with the weather as it was quite cool and foggy at times. However, our drivers and especially our leader Larry got the most out of it for us. We often passed busy viewing points and stopped in a quieter place. Larry always knew exactly where the best views were, what was worth doing and where to take the best pictures. At the stops he regularly took pictures of and for all of us - he knew through his experience where the best spots were and how to get the photos perfect. Larry was also my easy rider. I felt safe with him throughout. He knew exactly when it was safe to drive fast and allow for the most fun possible and when the group needed to drive more carefully. Driving through the fog, in which we could only see about 10 to 15 meters ahead, was quite scary at times, but Larry made sure that the entire group stayed together and drove very carefully. I felt completely safe throughout the entire time. Larry also speaks excellent English, which is not the case very often with tours in Vietnam and of course made communication so much easier. So we always knew exactly what was planned, how long it would take us to get to the next stop, when and where we could eat, drink or go to the toilet - something that - after spending a few weeks in Vietnam, especially away from the big cities - one really cannot appreciate enough. We met a few other tours along the way, all of whom were quite happy with their drivers, but often complained that they either barely understand their drivers and guides or that they can't speak English at all and they therefore don't receive any information. Things were different with Larry and I was even happier to be able to ride with him after I realized that. In addition to providing the necessary travel information, Larry told us interesting stories at every stop and was always very accommodating. During the food stops he tried very hard to ensure that we were all full, that we enjoyed our food and that we drank enough. He is very caring and you could tell he was genuinely interested in us all having a good time. In the evenings after the tours, Larry always joined us and enjoyed chatting and answering all of our questions about the tour, the area, Vietnam in general and Vietnamese culture. He encouraged us to take part in karaoke singing and really ensured we had the most of fun and the best experience on the tour. I can't say enough about how much better the tour was because Larry was there. I really feel like we got the best, most passionate and well prepared guide compared to others we saw on the way! Larry really is an asset to the company and they can be glad to have him.
Stunning and must-do activity
Brock_M, Mar 2024
This trip was absolutely incredible, the only thing that could’ve been better was the weather. Must do! Very safe, planned well, and amazing staff (love you Larry!!). Definitely do this rather than drive yourself in the loop. packing advice: bring a smaller bag with about three days worth of clothes, as it will be strapped to the back of the motorcycle inside a plastic bag. extra luggage can be left at their office/hostel. The long journey from Hanoi was on a very comfortable bus with blankets. Once you arrive, you meet your group and get your easy rider. The best part about this company was the small group size - only 5 people in mine. It made stops much easier and you got to become friends with the whole group. Other companies have much larger groups. Our group had a leader, Larry, who spoke excellent English and planned the route. Each of the other drivers spoke a little bit of English, but we could always have Larry translate. I went when it was quite rainy/foggy, and they provided rain ponchos which was nice. Even with the bad weather (and already bad road conditions), my driver was very safe and drove quite well. We made stops about every 30 minutes to look at the views/have coffee/stretch legs. The views are absolutely stunning. The accommodation the first night was a “homestay” - every person/couple had their own room, but everyone shared a few bathrooms. No heating/air conditioning. Dinner was at the homestay with karaoke night to follow. Many other tour groups stayed here so it made it fun to meet more people. The second night was in a hotel with beautiful views. Dinner was at a nearby restaurant with other tour groups. All the meals had a variety of dishes and were pretty good (though I suspect catered towards foreigners with the amount of french fries served). The best part for me was the other people in my group I got to meet, though of course you don’t have control over that. The views while riding were so incredible, hard to even describe. I will recommend this trip with this company to everyone I know that goes to Vietnam.
Incredible experience with insane views
cindy_l, Feb 2024
This is absolutely a must do experience, it was a gift for the eyes. Honestly, the views you see are insane. You get to see the local life in the mountains as well and meet so many new people on the trip. My driver Tinh was the highlight of my trip, we got along very well and he was extremely experienced making me feel very safe throughout the whole trip. This was an incredible experience!
Amazing Indeed 3 Day 2 Night Review
Taylor_W, Feb 2024
An amazing experience that everyone should do at least once in their lifetime. We booked with this tour because of the stellar reviews and because we had limited time- they offer a complete 3 day / 2 night tour round trip from Hanoi. The first day is pretty intense and a long haul, but the scenery is out of this world. Our drivers came prepared with rain gear and made us feel very safe the entire journey. Really great and fun young guys. Can’t wait to do it again- but I would advise to take your time with this trip if possible. There is so much to see and absorb!
EXCELLENT

Amazing experience. Do this trip… you’ll never regret it. Driver was amazing, sights were amazing, experience was amazing
A unique, amazing experience, with a company and drivers you can rely on
Angela_S, Dec 2023
First off, don't hesitate doing the loop. It is spectacular and not to be missed on a trip to Vietnam. We did the 3 day trip, picked up 6a day 1 in Hanoi and returned 11pm on day 3. We had a limited schedule so this was ideal for us. and was a unique option among companies we looked at. This option meant it was just my wife and I riding with our drivers as we started more like 1pm. Riding with just the two of us was nice as it made the whole tour feel a little more personal. Stopping and starting was a breeze. Our drivers, Tai and Ring deserve special mention. They were great the entire time, friendly, patient, helpful, great drivers, and all around just good guys. They made us feel safe and took great care of us. Taking our picture and letting us take plenty. These guys work hard! Tip them! The accommodations, 1 hotel and 1 homestay were both wonderful. The hotel night be sure to go out and check out the town! The homestay night, hang with the other riders and have some happy juice! Food was great throughout. This was an amazing experience that you should not miss and this company will take care of you. Don't hesitate to choose them. Thanks to Tai and Ring! Cảm ơn!
Amazing experience!

Such an amazing 3 days! The drivers make you feel very comfortable and safe and really take care of you the whole trip. Great stays and great food along the way. Would definitely recommend to anyone!
Amazing 3 day trip
Nigel_W, Oct 2023
A fantastic three day trip. Very well organised from pick up in Hanoi to drop off. The riders are experienced and so friendly. We had a group of about 10 people which was good to share the experience with each other. Recommended.
Unbelievable views - an absolute must for anyone visiting north Vietnam
Terri_C, May 2023
The actual experience, on the bike, is not to be missed. The easy riders are incredibly skilful and mindful to be careful around what, at times, can be quite tricky roads. This made it possible to really make the most of the absolutely amazing and simply breath taking views. I cant recommend that part enough. The hostels/homestays were pretty good, all things considered, certainly nothing to put you off doing it, and the food was lovely and plenty of it. The only down side, and this may not occur again, I hope it never does, was our driver from Hanoi to Ha Giang almost fell asleep at the wheel, and one of the passengers, on behalf of us all, strongly advised him to stop, saying that we felt we needed a comfort break. He was unwilling to do this, at first, and when we did stop it was at a disused service station, and the toilets were the most disgusting I have ever seen, and I am getting on in years and seen some pretty awful ones. The stench was vile, but we survived, only to find that as we resumed our journey, he then started shaving his face whilst driving!!! It was the most afraid we had all been on any road journey, it was quite terrifying at times. I am sure this wont happen again, but I felt Viator needed to know.
Inoubliable !
Mohamed_K, Oct 2023
A refaire ..
