Our tour guide and limousine vehicle will pick up at hotel/accommodation located in Hanoi Old Quarter within 8:20am - 8:40am. If your hotel located outside Hanoi Old Quarter, please go to our "meeting point" at 8:30am and wait there for pickup or contact our operations team for suggestions. Please note that Maximum 15 persons is per booking, not maximum passengers on vehicle and cruise ship.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Must do but expect crowds. Not a “party” bus and boat.

Must do excursion but overcrowded and we went in the “low” season. Beautiful place even in the smog from the crop burning but Authorities need to consider limiting number of tourists each day as per Venice, Machu Pichu. Tour itself is standard - set route, generic buffet but at least it wasn’t a party bus or boat.

Halong Bay a must if visiting Vietnam!

A must see if you visit VIietnam. The tour was nice which included lunch on the boat. 2-3 stoos for the cave & beach. We also did the speed boat, if you have time it’s worth it (extra $). It becomes a long day though.

An interesting trip but too many of the same.

The guide was friendly and knowledgeable and he was very well-organized with timings. On the way to Ha Long Bay, we stopped at an Oyster Farm where we listened to a talk about the pearls. This was a complete tourist trap. I didn't hear what the local guide was saying - it was a five-minute talk then we were left to shop for 30 minutes. The bay is beautiful and this is a good way to see it in a day. However, there are many other boats doing exactly the same thing meaning it is overcrowded. This isn't the tour operator's fault but the tourist board should organize the visits better. The boat was a nice experience - the food was okay.

The tour guide picked us up at our hotel in the old quarter at 8:00am. The ride to the harbor was long. The tour guide had a great personally and spoke great English. However, I think the tour guide provided too many facts that were unrelated to the tour. The tour bus made 2 stops along the way. The 1st one was a rest area. The 2nd was at a pearl shop. This is common with tours in Vietnam as well as other Southeast Asia countries. The cruise itself was smooth. The buffet lunch was unorganized, and the same was for the afternoon tea on the upper deck. Overall I would give this 3/5.

Here are our replies to your feedbacks: The ride to Halong was 2 hours and 15 minutes, plus 30minute break in 2 places. The 2nd stop was not what driver expected but he must do under our operations (the cruise arrived habour 20 minutes later unexpectedly than scheduled, so we told driver and guide to try to find a place for group resting. We avoided earlier arrival of group and waited for cruise under the heat of the sun. So the 2nd stop was not for shopping because group already stopped at 1st place. Tour guide alreay explained to you and it seems you was still not happy. We apologized for the inconvenience). That "the tour guide provided too many facts that were unrelated to the tour" also made you not happy. We hope you understand tour guide hard job. You were born Vietnamese and you knew well all things and information given by the guide so you found all his explanation nothing special and interesting. However most passengers in tour group are Foreigners and they were really excited with new cultures because they first time visiting our country. And the lunch on cruise we prepared "buffet lunch". The guide and cruise staffs already helped you peel off some shrimps but they also need time to serve others so they could not stay with you all the time. We are sorry for that and he hoped we could do morw but we also hope you will get used to with this buffet style. Best wishes to you!

A beautiful day spent cruising and visiting sites in Halong Bay. Stops were well planned and food was surprisingly good. Coach and boat were nice and comfortable. Our tour guide, Hung was well-organized, professional, courteous and caring about our experience and safety.

Overall very good experience. Tour guide “Mickey Mouse” was engaging and fun. 5+ hours round trip in the bus was long but the bay is gorgeous and worth the drive. Lunch was tasty, crew very pleasant. The Hang Sung Sot caves were absolutely flabbergasting.

Nice trip, a bit busy and not always clear where we need to meet back the tour guide (for instance at the place where the pearls were shown to us). Our tour guide Robert was very informative, trying to address everybody’s needs, good sense of humor, really liked him. Food on the cruise was good but not overly spectacular.

Fun tour at Halong but the price for this type of transportation is just ridiculous when after doing some reserach you can get a private car to drive you there and back for half the price. The quality of the tour, the quality of the boat, the quality of the lunch and afternoon tea were not reflected in the price we paid. VERY DISAPPOINTING. A total rip off.
