Karen_Q, May 2024
Great overview of the city with Ty excellent guide. Skipped the que and had close up piccies especially at the Tain Stations with a great guide.
Nice varied overview of Hanoi attractions and history
Maureen_F, Apr 2024
Our guide, Nhet (spelling?) was very helpful and knowledgeable. We especially enjoyed Hanoi Train Street and the Temple of Literature and University. It is disappointing that the Hanoi Opera House is not open much. No lunch is included, a Viator inaccuracy.
A good brief tour of Hanoi
Maddie_D, Apr 2024
This was a good tour with LNG and driver. Very accommodating. Felt a bit under pressure at the silk shop (by the staff) to purchase something. We just had a coffee though. LNG was a good guide with good English. We were a bit disappointed with the choice of stop at train street as it was not very vibrant. Later in the day we found the part of it that as better. We appreciate the guide was trying to get us round the attractions though. Overall a good tour.
Great food trip!!

The hidden corners tour was fabulous, the train street was so much fun! Ken, our guide, was pure gold, so informative, friendly and funny! Highly recommend, great intro to Hanoi!
Fantastic guide and great...
Kathryn_S, Apr 2024
Fantastic guide and great way to get an introduction to Hanoi. Train Street is a must do. Get an early trip if you want to get into Mossolium as it closes at 10.15sm.

Our tour guide Lin was amazing. So informative, and the best tour we had the whole time we were in Vietnam. Thanks Lin!
Train street experience...

Train street experience was timed to enjoy shortly after arrival. Other sites were good to see and learn.
Minor problems
Robert_P, Apr 2024
Thought the guide was good and educational. We did not go to St. Joseph's Cathedral even though it was only 2 blocks from our hotel. Lunch was included in the tour but was not provided.
Response from Host, Apr 2024
Dear, We are sorry to hear this. There must be a misunderstanding or something wrong here . The tour include tea/coffee in the train street. You wrote "we did not go to St. Joseph's Cathedral even though it was only 2 blocks from our hotel". There is no cathedral site in the tour program. Moreover, you could walk some steps there without any restriction if you are interested in. Thank you!
Good tour, poor guide
Joseph_H, Apr 2024
Good basic itinerary to see the “highlights of Hanoi” in 4+ hours and avoiding walking in the stifling heat. Unfortunately our guide had very poor English which made asking questions almost impossible. Ended up that he took us to a site, said a few words and then talked Vietnamese with the driver for the rest of the time. With a good guide it could have been a really informative tour. Should have provided a city map so we knew where we were going and the neighborhoods visited.
Great tour if you have limited time
Trudie_J, Apr 2024
We had limited time in Hanoi so this tour was a great way to see all of the sights. Long was our tour guide, he was very knowledgeable and engaging. Train Street was the highlight, Long timed the visit to the minute. Highly recommend.
Half Day Hanoi
Sue_D, Mar 2024
Train Street was a unique experience and our guide, Ling, timed it perfectly. The pho for lunch was also memorable. We found Ling to be informative and personable - loved learning about the Vietnamese culture from him.
Great time checking out...
Diane_D, Mar 2024
Great time checking out Hanoi with our guide. We had Pho in a small little local restaurant, it was the best Pho we had the entire trip.
Hanoi half day

Wonderful guide, very Informative. By the end of the tour we were on nickname terms. Saw and learnt a lot about Hanoi.
Avoid the Trip in the company you’ll see little
alistair_f, Mar 2024
Stay clear of this trip in this company in the afternoon. The mausoleum isn’t open and they don’t do any substitutes like the Hanoi Hilton. The Guide was well aware that it wasn’t open and we were going to complain! Even if you do the trip in the morning and do the mausoleum… you’ll miss the train on train street ! And don’t even think about complaining, they don’t bother responding
Great tour!
Julie_R, Mar 2024
Great tour and our guide was very knowledgeable! I'm pleased I booked this tour, it allowed us to discover the most important sites of Hanoi in a short time. Thanks!
First day in Hanoi Tour - not recommended.
Edward_K, Mar 2024
Long, our guide, did very little to enhance the experience. No descriptions of sights as we drove by them. Also, very little description when we walked to a sight. When we did stop it was often a quick stop to get a picture and back in the car. The stop a Train Street was in the least scenic location. I expected a little commentary but he dropped us off there to take a look. We were back in the car in 3 minutes. Long did not join us for the lunch/snack stop. Market stop was a waste of time - lots of junk. The tour lasted less than 3 hours 30 minutes. I would have expect 4 to 4 and a half hours. Driver was good
Excellent city tour
Valerie_H, Mar 2024
Excellent tour with a fabulous guide HAI. He was friendly, very knowledgeable. Made the trip fun and we would highly recommend him. Train street was fabulous as was the egg coffee made by one of the locals. HAI was an excellent guide who taught us a lot about the city. Would highly recommend this trip as they kept us informed of pick ups and were easy to book with.
Our guide spoke very...
Scott_Y, Mar 2024
Our guide spoke very fluent English, but he rushed the whole tour, we were walking very fast on each sight, that we ended our tour an hour early. He also insisted on a bigger tip.
Long is the best
ANGELA_H, Mar 2024
