A very enjoyable evening with our guide Minh. We tried a variety of foods, some delicious, others not to my taste ( but you should always try them). We would never have found some of the places we ate at without Minh. Many Thanks.

The tour is truly a large sample of the Old Quarter’s street food. We had about seven or eight stops in three hours. Our guide, Chung, was excellent with his information about the food and the area

Our guides Duy and Minh (in training) were fabulous with great food knowledge. Their communication was excellent (English) . They guided us through the manic traffic and took us to 7 different food vendors. We stopped at places that you might not stop at or know what to order. Fantastic food and an experience that we’ll never forget. I love cooking so this for was enlightening and educational. All our group gave this tour the thumbs up.

Great guide and delicious food

First of all, our guide Patrick was the best! He was so friendly, knowledgable about the culture and history of Vietnam, cared about everyone’s viewpoint in our group. And of course, the food! Everything was delicious and fresh. He took us to 6 restaurants that you would not know existed. He explained how the restaurants are owned by families, and that you can tell it’s a good restaurant when they are cooking the food right outside the restaurant. Everything about this tour was amazing. I recommend you do it while in Hanoi!

It was a great tour!! The food was delicious in all of the places where we went. Jenny our guide was very nice and enthusiastic. She explained every dish and how to eat each thing. She also showed us how people live in the old quarter so that we can learn a bit of Hanoi too. I wouldn't have eaten some of the things we ate if I wouldn't have taken the tour. I totally recommend it!!

Chris was a great guide! Grew up in the area so could provide good explanation on both the Vietnam's locale variation of meals and a personal level. He was attentive to our needs (bathroom, thirst etc) and looked after the groups safety with food allergies & crossing of roads! All the food locations we went to were awesome! 3 drinks and 5 foods in a few hours, come hungry! I would recommend this tour to anyone! Thanks again.

Such a fantastic time walking around the Old Quarter areas of Hanoi sampling the delicious foods, although be sure to come with an appetite as the portions are quite large! Our guide was a great source of knowledge and extremely friendly!

This was a SUPERB tour and I would absolutely highly recommend it!! You walk a mile or so through the Hanoi old quarter and the guide provides excellent narrative and first hand experience of Vietnamese culture. The food was divine - everything was the best of what we had during our time in Vietnam. These guys know the best spots and take good care to accommodate any dietary needs and pacing of the tour. We ate to our hearts content and had the most perfect day. Our guide provided additional recommendations for our time in Hanoi and recommended a fabulous place to get coffee beans. If you are trying to pick a food tour, PICK THIS ONE!! If you are debating going on a food tour, GO!! Trust me - I am a bit of a food snob and was blown away. Everything was so fantastic and our guide was engaging and enthusiastic. We had (non alcoholic) drinks, a variety of main courses, a few appetizers, and two desserts. Go, go, go!!! Hands down the best food tour I’ve ever been on.

We just landed in Hanoi on the same day that we did our tour. Our food tour guide is Luke who gave us an overview of the types of street food that we will see Hanoi. We ate at places that only locals would know - houses inside the alleys. They serve the most delicious food. I highly recommend this tour.

This tour was enjoyable and great value for the money. We got to try many of the staples of Hanoi, and being part of a smaller group also allowed us to engage more with one another and share stories. This food tour was terrific because portions were not too big, and I enjoyed everything I got without feeling I was going to explode, as it happened to me in other food tours I had done.
