- 8.30 AM is price option which is included in shuttle bus from Hanoi old quarter, we can pick up hotels in Hanoi old quarter or Hanoi Opera house from 8.00-8.50AM depending the locations (don't pick up from outside of Hanoi old quarter) - 12.00PM is price option which is not included in shuttle bus/ transfers to & from habour. This option for customers who depart from the Tuan Chau Marina habour. We don't have pick up services in Halong city but if customers book this 12.00PM option & want to book transfers services (Private car, no shuttle bus), pls contact us in advance to get the extra price information. - If customer's international cruise ship habour is Halong international cruise port -> We can arrange the cruise trip at the same habour, customers just need walk from their cruise ship to our point at 12.00PM (just 5 minutes) Please contact in advance by email or hotline to confirm!

What To Expect

Begin your full-day tour of Ha Long Bay from Hanoi with a handy hotel pickup from the Old Quarter or Opera House area. Then sit back and enjoy the views of the countryside en route to the UNESCO-listed bay.

Around midday, board your cruise boat and fuel up with a tasty Vietnamese seafood lunch on board. Admire the impressive karst landscape as you sail to your first stop, Sun Sot (Surprise Cave), with dramatic formations lit with colorful lights. Next, enjoy some active adventures, including kayaking and swimming in the bay, and hiking to the top of Titop Island for panoramic views.

Cruise back to port in the early evening while the sun sets, then board your bus for the return trip to Hanoi. While many Ha Long Bay tours require you to stay overnight, this day trip is ideal if you’re short on time.

Jackets (in the Winter).
  • 8.00 – 9.00AM: Pick up at hotels in Hanoi old quarter (time to pick up depending your hotel locations...). If customers don't stay in Hanoi old quarter, pls come to Hanoi Opera house, 01 Trang Tien street before 8.00AM or Hanoi Aira boutique hotel & spa, 38A Tran Phu street at 8.20AM or CIS coffee shop, 162 Tran Quang Khai street at 8.50AM to get on the bus.

  • Ha Long Bay is so beautiful and it's crowded every day, especially in summer and weekends -> it is often overcrowded by Vietnamese tourists in summer. But we’re the smallest group tour in Halong bay
  • Sometimes, you will see garbages on Ha Long Bay due to changes in flowing water and tides, garbages from other places come to to Ha Long Bay. Government, local people, travel companies... are trying their best to clean up Ha Long Bay.
  • For the best trip, we need your cooperation. Please tell us all the problems, questions if you have. Our tour guide is always there to help you.
  • We also hope that customers will respect all other tourists in the group, respect the culture, timetable and common principles...
  • Water is free on the bus. But follow up the policy of Halong bay administration about environment, they don't allow to bring plastic bottle water to the boat & visit spots. But tourists can bring multi-use bottle/ glass bottle/ thermos bottle...Or you can leave your plastic water bottle in your bag to pass the gate!
  • Customers stay in Hanoi old quarter but don't see hotel/ address in the list to book -> No worries, please choose any hotel option that you can see in the list just to finish the booking, then we will come to pick up. Customers need to contact us via email/ phone/ zalo/ whatsaap to confirm the pick up information in this case as soon as possible
  • Customers don't stay in Hanoi old quarter, please choose any hotel option that you can see/ or choose "hotel is not listed" just to finish the booking, then contact by emaill/ phone/ whatsaap/ zalo...-> we will recommend the best pickup point then.
  • Customers stay on International cruise trip: If your cruise ship habour name is Halong international cruise port, we can arrange the cruise trip that is the same habour & customers just need to walk from your ship to our pick up point around 12.00PM (just 5 minutes). If your cruise ship habour is Cai Lan port, customers need to take a taxi to our Tuan Chau Marina habour at 12.00PM (20 minutes tranfer) or please contact us in advance to arrange pick up services with additional fees.
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 45 travelers

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

I took a last minute day trip for my last full day in Vietnam and was solo! Phong was our guide an he was so funny and gave some great info on the trip. It was a little gloomy and drizzled being the spring time, but it was such a good and well worth trip. The seafood lunch was amazing. Highly recommend doing the speedboat for a small additional cost! Bring a towel and change of clothes in case you get wet!

Amazing experience, I absolutely loved the kayaking in the bay. Best part of the day for me. The cave is surprisingly large and nice and cool inside. Had a great trip on the boat, the staff and guide were great. Ha Long Bay is definitely worth seeing. The color of the water against the towering rocks is stunning.

Long but interesting day seeing quite a lot in a very comfortable, organised manner. Lunch aboard boat filling and tour guide Lee and bus driver excellent. Lee managed everything including the odd slightly selfish tourist really well with tact and humour. Great & knowledgeable guide. Driver inspired confidence.

Great tour from Phong, he was a great guide and we enjoyed Ha Long bay. As to be expected it was busy in the areas we went to, but this tour was great for being time limited and getting to see key spots. Enjoyed the kayaking and walk to view point.

My husband and I were extremely happy with this tour in Halong Bay!!! In the beginning I was concerned because our cruiseship was docking at 11 AM. Many people were picked up from Hanoi at 8 AM, to do this tour. They all actually had to come to the International Cruise Terminal, before taking the boat to go to Halong Bay. It ended up being literally 15 minutes walking, we met the group and went to the tour. The itinerary was great, and the food on the boat was good. They took us to a place where you had the option to do kayaking, or go on a boat with a group of people, through a cave. We did the boat and it was a very nice experience. Halong Bay is awesome!! Such great memories! I also recommend going inside the mountain and see the rock formations. Lots of steps, but worth it! There are a couple of openings to see the landscape below. If I were to visit Halong Bay again, I will probably repeat this experience. Good communication with the company, first on this site, and later via whatsapp.

All well organized. From a pick up till drop off. The trip to Ha Long Bay is a must to do thing when travelling at North of Vietnam. But if you have a chance to travel here on summer will be better. We had a cloudy day but warm with no rain so experience was amazing enough. In my opinion one day trip is absolutely enough in such period of time. I wouldn't change it to an overnight stay.

Boat was small, old and food was horrible. Not much selection brought to each of the tables of 6. Other than that each drop off and pickup was organized fine. Very touristy so lots of same tour doing same things but find boat offering better food!
