Responsive and Responsible Operator

Communication with the operator was smooth. The 7-seater we booked was apparently stuck somewhere 30mins before our pick up and the operator immediately whatsapped to inform and swiftly got us a replacement within 5mins. Considering we were up on a mountain, we were impressed. Got upgraded to a limousine bus so there was plenty of space for the 4 of us. Driver was polite, skilled, and the journey was very smooth with toilet breaks planned at suitable timings. Overall a very pleasant experience and I’ll be sure to book with this operator again should I return to Hanoi.

We used this service to go to Sa Pa from Hanoi and back. The drivers arrived on time, were very kind and helpful. Throughout the journey we had some stops to stretch the legs/bathroom break and the drivers were driving very safely.

Driver Eric was punctual. Van was clean and luxury as shown in their pics. Ride was smooth and fast. He is steady and quiet. Pls inform driver early if you need toilet break as we missed 1 and the next is almost another hour. The expressway never ending with no exit. I strongly recommend you to book through Viator as both my bookings were perfect.

Sapa to Hanoi. On pickup there wasn’t enough room for all our bags because he had an esky with goods in it for another job. So we had to put a suit case in the front. Driver was reckless passing cars - we both felt frightened. We hired the car then he dropped off another parcel on the way to our hotel. Not good enough as we hired the car for the duration.

Dear Michael, As a professional operator, we appreciate all customers' feedbacks. We already checked your ride and we hope you should tell the whole story. You two people booked us a private ride. We arranged a 7 seater car and it was very spacious. Our driver carried 2 boxes of our company uniform clothes and he put them at the back. So your suicase was put in the front seat next to driver seater. You had the whole 3 seats (behind the driver) and still 2 other empty rear seats. So the carrying of our company boxes did not affect any to your ride. You booked the ride to one destination then you asked driver to drop you off at another destination which is 30 kilometres further without extra payment. In this situation our driver had the right to refuse. We hope that you please be honest and don't take this reason to mislead the story. Please be fair and honest then the happy ending will come. Driver's details were provided a few days before, but driver has no Whatsapp. We reached airport earlier and called driver if he could pick us up earlier, but he couldn't understand us, and just said 'ok ok'. While waiting a nice vietnamese couple helped us call again, and the original driver told her that there's a change in driver and Viator would have emailed us. But we didnt receive anything. I msged viator, but there was no reply for more than an hour. The newly assigned driver was not familiar with the route and was trying hard not the doze off on the way up to Sapa. I booked my other transfers on another platform, where the tour operators were way more responsive.

Dear, It seems that you had a misunderstanding about Viator. Viator is not a transfer company but it is a booking platform on which every operator can offer their services. We checked carefully and found out you only booked a return transfer (from Sapa back to Hanoi) with our company, Hanoi VIP Transfer. Obviously, the ride from Hanoi to Sapa you booked with another provider and so you posted a negative review to the wong place. We were responsible for your ride from Sapa to Hanoi only. Moreover, we never give our car details a few days in advance as you stated but one day in advance only. We do recommend that you check carefully to see which local operator doing this for you and please post the review to the right place. Of course no service is perfect 100% and so we always wish to hear our customers feedbacks so that we will know our week/strong points so as to improve our service. However, we already checked very carefully and reconfirmed that you only booked your return transfer (from Sapa to Hanoi) with us, NOT the transfer from airport to Sapa as mentioned. Hopefully you search more information to know more how Viator works (not what the way you think Viator is a transfer company then you wrote in a careless way to the wrong operator). Clean and comfy car

The car was clean and we were comfortable in the 7 seater car. The driver arrived on time and offered water. We stopped for 15 mins to have some rest, go to the toilet and stretch our legs. Not a 5 star review because we felt the driver was going too fast in certain areas -we told him as we were getting dizzy - but after that he was okay.

White knuckle terror ride!

It was a miracle we arrived alive! Chap drop like a mad man! Overtaking on blind rises constantly. He would show his anger to anyone that did not move over for him by going as close as he could as he passed and then cut them off aggressively. I guess its hit and miss in the driver. He was on time and offered water and mints. Make sure you have your destination hotel address handy as he didn’t have it! We used the hotel to book the return trip it was a little more expensive but the driver was very safe!

Very happy with this transfer. The driver was at our Hanoi hotel early and ready for us. Didn't speak much English but that was OK, he drove quickly and confidently. The car was modern, comfortable and very clean. We had a stop half way through.

The driver from Hanoi to Sapa was great. However, the drive from Sapa to Hanoi was less than ideal. Our driver was 45 minutes late and we had to change cars midway through the journey. This car change took forever for the drivers to co-ordinate. A 5.5 hour trip ended up taking 7 plus hours. I think we were simply forgotten! An apology was given, but I expect better.

It is a pity that you gave us the wrong address once you changed hotel address in Sapa (you stayed at Sapa Topas Ecolodge, however you updated Sapa Topas office which is located in the Sapa town). Once we found out that you stayed very far away (15 minutes later than your expected time as booked), we tried to arrange another car which is nearer to your hotel. In the mean time, the arranged car to take you back to Hanoi stay waiting. As a professional operator, we know well that it would be much better for you. It would help you shorten waiting time and it is the best choice to fix. We did explain very clearly to you and it seems you did not believe. So I suggest that you search google and you will see Topas Ecoldge (where you stayed) and Topas Ecolodge Sapa Office (where you gave us) is quite far. We again hope that you should understand it was NOT 100% my team mistake. We hope you will check carefully in the future. Once again, my teak thank you very much for booking with us. A very good timely communication and arrangement well before we arrived Hanoi. The trip was initially scheduled at 2pm (the flight landed 10:30am) thinking that our kids may be too tired to continue the journey right after the flight. Since the kids are very okay after the flight landed, this operator arranged the car immediately after we requested to continue the journey.
