We had an excellent trekking tour with our guide May, who was very attentive and helpful. Beautiful scenery, lovely homestay bungalow and friendly people. We were very lucky with the weather, but the treks could be a little tricky if raining/very muddy. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend!

Very happy and worth every penny
Omkar_D, May 2024
This was one of the best treks I’ve ever done, when I booked I was skeptical about everything as there were not enough photos on the website, but from the bus ride to the home stay to the tour guides everything was amazing. The food selection is great too. And the tour guides speak English quite well. Thanks Cat and Vu.

Arrangement by vistor was very confusiong. It was distressful rather enjoyable. In the voucher says back and fourth transfer from hanoi to sapa but in fact it was not. Have to pay extra both ways. So did not like the fact viator did. Local tour guide was very helpful and nice but main person in Hanoi told the different
Amazing experience

It was an amazing experience. Cat, our guide, was really nice. The views were incredible. Really recommended
Bus transport very average.
Elizabeth_W, Apr 2024
The bus was uncomfortable and the driver spoke no English. No communication regarding drop off details when we returned to Hanoi.
"Outstanding Local Insights with a Superb Guide
Talha_S, Apr 2024
Excellent tour experience facilitated by May, our friendly and knowledgeable guide. She provided great insights and extensive local knowledge that greatly enhanced our journey.
Too pricey for the experience offered
Aysha_S, Apr 2024
Signed up for the package with a limousine transfer. While the hike was a good experience, a bit challenging because of the rains which made some of the route very slippery, the accomodation was a major let down. I was told I’d be sleeping in a particular Homestay which was then changed last minute (downgrade). I was told they had paid for it by mistake and that they would want me to stay there as that’s what the “owner” said. This was very disappointing and overall, very pricey for the experience offered
Amazing tour with beautiful views
Nefeli_S, Apr 2024
We had an amazing time in our tour with Cat! Stunning views and beatiful hike through nature (even in April when people previously told us that it's less nice)! The hike was not too difficult and was very rewarding. We were with a nice group of international people (6 in total) and had a really fun time! Cat was a great guide she explained us the culture of the people in the villages which was very interesting and she was really friendly and always smiling! Would definitely recommend, one of our highlights of the trip!

We did the limousine from Hanoi to Sapa, + 2 day, 1 night stay! Bungalow stay is nice! The hikes are worth it! 4 hour hike plus another 4 hour hike in the morning, good for adventurer’s. Food was good! Everything is planned out
Wonderful experience
Vishnu_V, Mar 2024
Wonderful experience with the treks and the guide explaining about the lifestyle and history of people living in the SaPa region. The homestay was decent and food was amazing. Overall worth the amount paid for.

Fantastic trip with Khu!
Leigha_C, Mar 2024
This trip was a blast! Our tour guide, Khu, was amazing. She took care of every detail and taught the group so much about nature and local life around the villages we visited. I highly recommend this tour to anyone, and encourage you to request Khu as your guide!
Great experience

Mu was an excellent tour guide! She taught us a lot about Sa Pa and the villages. Beautiful hike and interesting history.
An amazing experience!

Chang provided us an absolutely amazing tour through Sapa. She was very informative and friendly, allowed us to take our time to get photos and videos, and kept eyes on everyone in our group to make sure we didn’t slip and fall on all the mud. It was a once in a lifetime experience and I would recommend this trip to everyone who is traveling to vietnam!
Disappointing experience, little value added

IMPORTANT: see below as some of this tour's reviews may have been written under pressure from tour guides. We took this tour in February departing with Hanoi. Unfortunately we had a few problems that made it a disappointment experience. Our issues started with the pickup from Hanoi. We were expecting to be picked up at our hotel or at the location specified in the tour. Instead, we were told the day before that we'd have to walk 12 min from our hotel to the new location (which is not a long walk, but still unexpected). When we got there we found out that it was a common Sapa departure point for several private bus companies. There was no one there guiding us and we had no information on the bus that we should catch, so we had to ask drivers one by one if they had our name in their lists. The bus that took us there wasn't reserved for the tour, it was a regular bus service. When we arrived there, thankfully we had someone waiting for us. They took us to lunch and we started our first day hike. Our guide took us through some beautiful scenery! However, she didn't say much along the way; while she told us some interesting facts every now and then, we were expecting to learn more in a 4-5 hour walk. As other reviewers also mentioned, we were followed by some older ladies from the traditional villages that will be very friendly to you, chat with you and help you if you need it. Be aware that later on they'll ask you to buy something from them and in our case they were quite rude and left immediately once we told them that we didn't want anything. When we arrived at our homestay, we were told that our original one was already fully booked. We didn't quite understand what happened, but it looked to us that the tour company overbooked it, as most of the members from our tour were hosted there. We were taken to a homestay right next to the original one, which unfortunately looked a bit worse. The second day was better than the first one - the guide was a bit more talkative and we had a chance to see a lot of traditional Lunar New Year celebrations. In general, it felt like a more genuine experience. Our last bad experience happened in the end, when our guide asked us if we liked the tour and asked us to write a review on Viator and let her take a photo so she could show her boss! This was really concerning to us - it felt like we were being pressured to write a good review. We chose this tour in the first place because of the overwhelming positive feedback here and seeing that we realized that they may have gotten their good rating due to this practice. My overall feeling is that the tour organizers didn't add nearly enough value to justify the US-centric prices. If I was to do it again, it would have been more stress-free to book bus tickets and the homestay myself and follow a trail using AllTrails or a similar app.
Won’t disappoint you

The rice field scenery is stunning. This excursion will not disappoint you. Our tour guide, Khu is so kind, nice and patient. The homestay is very nice.
Great trip

Really nice trip with two hikes. Special thanks to Cat for being our guide. We leaned a lot from here about the people and the village. Would definitely recommend the trip.
Great Experience

Sapa: Great guide, great experience, the only thing that was not good was our transport from and back to Hanoi. The Bus was very slow, it took us more than 6 hours. I would recommend to take an overnight bus, in which it is easier to sleep. As pick-up was 6.30 everybody was ver tired.
Great tour and guides
Rithvik_S, Feb 2024
Hiking was great, well organized. Su was a helpful guide. Nice views, good weather. Highly recommend!!
Chaotic but interesting trip
Gabriela_H, Feb 2024
Our guide Sú was really good, she was guiding us around and showing us some nice places. The only problem was that the company forgot to pick me up in the morning since I've ordered the trip on the last minute during previous evening. But they managed to get me on the tour in time. Also way back to Hanoi was little bit chaotic too, because I was in a different bus than rest of the group.
