As a central location for customer to find and near lots of main bus stations, restaurants, Vietnam Travel Group head office is located at 55 Do Quang Dau Street, district 1. It only takes 5 to 10 minutes walking from Ben Thanh market, and less than 5 minutes from Bui Vien walking street. There will be a big sign name “Vietnam Travel Group” for easily recognition.

Disappointed…. I’m sure we were just unlucky… we booked VIP trip as a treat… our guide had a hangover which he was proud to share… we started late and finished early… didn’t get much info all was rushed… had to explore ourselves just as well we did the museum the day before… Hope my next trip that we have booked with Viator will not disappoint us… Erica & Andy UK

I had most of my last day in Ho Chi Minh City free, so I picked this tour to fill most of the day. And what a great choice that was. The tour was really well organised and gave one a very good understanding and empathy with what happened in Cu Chi in the period from late 50s to early 70s. The tour was made special by our excellent guide. Unfortunately, I have forgotten his name but include a picture of him in action so that he gets due credit. Recommended.

Cu Chi tunnels at Ben Duoc - a satisfying tour

We were a family of three and took a “non-touristy” tour to see the tunnels at Ben Duoc. We happened to be the last to be picked up and our guide Mr Leon coordinated well by giving us frequent updates about the estimated time for our pick up. The vehicle had about 15 seats and was very comfortable. On our way out we made a stop of about 25 mts at a handicrafts workshop which, in my opinion, was rather unnecessary. Mr Leon was an enthusiastic guide, eager and well informed about the history of Vietnam in general and the Cu Chi tunnels in particular. He was quite witty too and made our journey interesting. I have taken guided tours in the past and I believe an engaging guide can make all the difference to the experience. This tour as well as our tour guide Mr Leon met my expectations in every respect. I highly recommend this tour.

One of our party got stuck in the tiny entrance and had to be hauled out by the others! It was funny. Our guide, Nam, was excellent bringing everything to life. What amazing ingenuity and courage they all displayed in digging those tunnels.

Bus trip was ok, but they stopped at an craft boutique on the way to Cu Chi where we had to get off the bus and visit for 20 min. The Cu Chi site was extremely crowded and we could not stop to see everything. The guide kept pushing us forward. There was rain at the end of the tour and thd guide didn't want to get wet so he kept us at the firing range (very noisy) for 30 minutes which delayed us even more. Then he hurried us through one single tunnel and the quickly to the exit for us to return to HCMC. Thd guide did not speak very good English compared to other guides we saw on the site. We do not recommend this tour.

Although the tour was good I thought we would of seen more and gone through more tunnels. I also felt rushed. The bus was disappointing as it didn't look like the advertised picture on website. The offering of crackers and bananas was a lovely offering. Tour guide spoke good English
A great experiece

Despite hotel pick ups in HCM were a little tedious, once we were on our way, our guide Phuong was l9vely, he really engaged with us and broke the ice by doing Karaoke on the journey to the tunnel around 1.5 hours, there was a stop at a little artwork place which I thought a little unnecessary however a good way for tourists to hand over a few quid to the locals. The tunnel experience itself was absolutely fantantastic, the whole trip was great expertly explained by our guide, the tunnels were very busy with lots of other tours, however did not spoil the experience.. overall a great trip would have scored it 5 stars except for the slow time picking up in HCM at different hotels.

It's an experience that is unique to Vietnam. From getting down into the actual tunnels used by the Vietcong to shooting an AK 47 in real life, it was truly memorable.

Got tickets booked in viator butt tourist operator did nt confirm the tickets on the day itself ..he contacted and Said that afternoon tickets are available after that no tickets available on the day ..Sunday is busy day in hu chi min city

Very disappointed, we were picked up nearly an hour late to be taken on a tour that was not as we had booked. We were not taken to the less touristy Ben duoc tunnels as advertised but to the busy Ben dimh tunnels. This meant there was a massive queue to go into the tunnels, making it feel even more claustrophobic. This is exactly what we wanted to avoid by purchasing a tour to go to the less touristy tunnels. I would also not class 1 tour guide to 20 people when walking round the site as a small group. Luckily the guide was really nice and knowledgeable but overall very frustrated by not being taken where we had paid to go

Great day with tour guide, Ben. Van was on time to pick me up. Ben was super friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the tunnels. Water provided on van and ended with Pho dinner at local restaurant in Ho Chi Minh. Van was comfortable as it was a small group tour. It's a bit of a drive to get there with traffic and roads are not that good, FYI. Overall, it was a great day, and you can't beat the price.

My husband and I absolutely loved this tour. An hour into the drive to the tunnels you stop at an Agent Orange Charity Workshop where they make the most exquisite items from duck egg shell and mother of pearl shells. So beautiful and for a good cause as 60% of the profits go to people affected. The tunnel tour was amazing, eye-opening and fascinating. Our favourite tour in Vietnam!

We opted for a small group tour which made the visit more "personalised". Our Guide, Daro, was knowledgeable and gave a good account of the how the tunnels were built, its structure, complexity and functions. It gave us a better insight into the Vietnam War. Entered and crawled in the tunnels to have a first-hand experience and was in awe of their intelligence and perseverance in its construction. Note: Wear very light clothing if you intend to crawl in the tunnels as it is very humid and the air is still.
