Awesome day!
Sherry_U, Apr 2024
It was a pleasant day for the tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable, sharing plenty of information about the Hobart area. Wished we had more time to explore - so much to see and do.
Callum made the difference!
BARBARA_B, Apr 2024
We had Callum as our driver and guide. Loved his energy and enthusiam! He is very knowledge about Hobart, it's history, past and present. He made adjustments to the schedule so that we got the best views from Mt Wellington. The sanctuary was good, the kangaroos weren't very active but managed to feed one. It is a great tour, do it!
Wonderful experience!

We had a great time and our guide was very good. We loved going to the animal sanctuary. We were able to feed kangaroos and get up close and touch them. We saw many animals and learned about them from the people who cared for them.
Great tour. Highly recommend.

First Viator tour. Enjoyed it very much. The driver/guide was knowledgeable and accommodating. We got to see many sights in this beautiful place
Great day out.
Beverley_W, Mar 2024
Callum was excellent lots of Tasmania information. We packed in loads so much more than doing a trip from a cruise ship. Picked up outside cruise terminal with clear information given a couple of days before. Drop back with loads of time to spare. Would highly recommend
Very good time

Callum was a great driver and guide - with good energy. We loved the Bonorong wildlife preserve and the employees were interactive - the hi light of the trip!
Very pleasant way to experience Hobart

This tour in Hobart is a wonderful way to spend the day. Fast and easy pick-up from the cruise terminal, and also timely drop-off back to the ship. Our driver was very informative and worked around the closing of Mt Wellington due to a high fire risk. The wildlife sanctuary was fun and the Tasmanian Devil did not disappoint. The kangaroos were also quite active on the day we visited. We stopped in the town of Richmond for a light lunch and a little shopping. We even had a brief stop at a winery and a cheese shop.
Great tour

Simon was very informative and provided us with a great experience. Our group was around 10 people. The van was clean and in great condition
Perfect day in the Hobart area
Hugh_W, Jan 2024
This tour delivered exactly as promised. Simon was our driver and guide and was extremely personable and informative. He recommended adjusting the sequence to see Mount Wellington first since the weather was great at that time. A very smart move and a great start to a perfect day.
Tour the heights and coast of Wellington.
Aryeh_B, Dec 2023
A great tour of Wellington. From two different heights, to the coastal areas the tour shows the city in many perspectives, including downtown and Parliament.
Disappointing
Globaltrekker, Nov 2023
We were met st cruise terminal punctually but Unfortunately the weather impacted on our plans and prevented us from going to the top of Mt Wellington. The animals at the Bonorong wildlife sanctuary were cute and unique to Tasmania and got to hand feed the wallabies.Richmond is a lovely little town and would love to have more time their as it has so much to see.We didn’t go to coopers brewery as highlighted, but we had a scenic drive around Hobart before being dropped off In town for free time or back at ship whichever you choose
Great tour of Hobart and Surrounding districts as an alternative to Cruise Shore excursions
Peter_L, Mar 2023
EGreat tour of Hobart , Mt Wellington , Richmond and Wildlife Farm. Crammed a lot in one day which is great as we were on a cruise that berth in Hobart so wanted to maximise the day. Peter our host and driver was very knowledgable and kept up with all interesting facts. Highly recommend this tour if coming onshore from a cruise.
Callum is the best!

The Saturday market and views from several hills around the Hobart metro area. Disappointing the weather did not allow us a view from Mt Wellington

Glenn_W, Feb 2023
visiting richmond and seeing the quaint town built many years ago .... and of course mt. wellington .... a fantastic view of hobart and surrounding area after a skilled drive up the mountain...the pet farm/sanctuary/zoo was a little weak but nice to she/touch a kangaroo and see the Taz Devil our guide provided excellent commentary and knowledge of the island of tasmania and hobarts history ,,,,
Worth EVERY Penny

The trip to the top of Mt. Wellington and feeding kangaroos at the Sanctuary were two of our favorite experiences of our entire trip to Australia! This is the perfect excursion for those coming to Hobart via a cruise.
What a wonderful small group trip.
Karen_H, Jan 2023
What a wonderful trip. Our guide/driver was so knowledgeable and helpful. He changed the order of the excursion to adjust to the weather that day. We were supposed to go up Mount Wellington first thing in the morning but it is covered in clouds so, we went to the Richmond bridge first which was so beautiful. The Bonorong wildlife sanctuary was much more than I expected. Forester kangaroos, Tasmanian devils, Sugar gliders, Eastern quolls, Pademelons, wombats, and a few others native to Tasmania including birds. It was lovely. We got to feed the kangaroos and even pet them. The Cascade Brewery was a fun break with yummy dark beer and chips. Then we went up Mount Wellington, hopefully to be a see a view of Hobart and the whole bay. When we got to the top it was beautiful and sunshiny. But there was a band clouds below us that was cutting off our view of Hobart but really no loss. It's about 4,100 ft above sea level. At the base of it was tall forests and ferns and waterfalls and by the time we got to the top it was everything was extremely short to deal with the higher altitude. There was also the amazing pipe organ rock formations which are columns of dolerite, up to 120m high. We made it back down to Hobart where we were dropped off at the port. Overall, a very satisfying day!
