North Shore and pineapple...

North Shore and pineapple plantation were the best parts of the tour. However, the tour did not live up to my expectations. The tour was overpriced for what we received.

Even in for private customized tour, this tour had a previous informed list of activicties but the driver/guide didnt want to follow. In the end he did it, and we visited most of them, but it turned into an ackward mood day.

This was a wonderful tour! I researched a lot and knew that I didn’t want a big group tour but some of the private tours were so expensive! I wasn’t sure if it was going to just be me and my bestie or a few other people would join but it was just us. We got to modify the tour and focus on the places we wanted to go and spend more time and the places we could skip. Tom coordinated everything with me the day before so we were ready to roll the next morning. He picked us up at 9:30am in the Mercedes sprinter. We brought a bag with extra shoes and clothes to change into so we could get some good pics in cute outfits but be ready to walk to the waterfall. Tom was very knowledgeable about the island and answered all our questions. Everywhere we went was great, we had a fabulous time and I suggest if you are thinking about booking, you should!

Awesome Tour - Great way to see the island

Amazing time spent with our guide Ama from Spiritual Tours Hawaii on this tour! Ama communicated with us very clearly leading up to the tour. He took us all around the island and provided tons of amazing history and facts about the island and the people. He made sure my Mom and I were comfortable and cared for. He took us to some amazing places off the beaten path, all around the North Shore as well as some wonderful local food spots (Matsumoto’s is a must!). Ama was such a pleasure to spend time with. He was very open and very funny. We had an incredible time with him. I highly recommend scheduling a tour with him early in your visit as the information he provided helped to shape how we spent the rest of our time on the island.

Eva was an excellent guide and took us to many places and indicated places we should come back (we had a rental car). It was a great way to discover the island its history and that of the Hawaiian people and tribes. She found a lovely area where we stopped for a lunch bite at a local small sandwich shop (we all paid for our own lunch, as expected). It was a great tour and they do an excellent job! Highly recommend!

Our driver Ama was excellent- he has a wealth of knowledge about Oahau and its history, he also tells it with such enthusiasm. We stopped at beautiful view points and tried some of the best food so far. This trip was far better than those organised by our cruise company and we would definitely come back and choose this tour again. Such good value and opportunity to meet a really lovely guide.

Our guide, Eva, made our tour much more enjoyable than what we expected. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and very accommodating to us. If we ever come back to Hawaii for a visit, we will definitely try to meet her again. This is our 3rd tour with Viator and they have all been excellent.

What a great way to spend the day rather than sitting in the airport all day waiting for a red eye flight home. Our driver/guide, Eva was excellent and made sure that we were able to visit the places that we requested and suggested others that she thought we might enjoy. She has a wealth of knowledge of the history of the Hawaiian islands. Our stops included a restaurant on the North Shore where we enjoyed lunch and had a nice view of the ocean. She picked us up at the cruise ship and dropped us off at the airport.

I am always skeptical of things like this - especially when I didn’t get a recommendation from a friend but 8 was so glad I ignored that and went with it. Our tour guide Ama was absolutely amazing - and gave us a very intimate and personal look into his Honolulu. His personality, knowledge, stories, and navigation skills were beyond amazing. Amazing experience with a great guide. Eva made sure that the day fitted around us and was both really friendly and knowledgeable, giving us a real insight into all of the places we visited. The tour took us to lots of places we would never have found ourselves. I would recommend taking this tour early in your stay as it gives plenty of ideas for places you may want to come back to spend a day exploring.
