A more-than pleasant day on Oahu!

We were treated with first-time visits on Oahu with our driver, Tiho. He was well-informed, gracious, always willing to take our photos, and was more than willing to work with our tight schedule. We were very pleased with the outcome of our day with Tiho.

Fun Filled Day

For our circle island tour we had Jeffrey and he made the trip a blast! We got to see parts of the island that were difficult for us to see without a car so it helped having a guide who knew his way around. We got to see the lava tub which was cool, then went over to a couple beaches on the east side of the island. Made our way up to the north shore to see where all the surf tournaments are held which was neat. After that had lunch at Giovanny’s shrimp truck which was great and then went to see some sea turtles which was really cool. Finally we finished up with some shaved ice which was fantastic! We skipped over dole plantation and a couple other stops simply cause we weren’t interested but Jeffrey double checked with us before doing anything! I would recommend this tour to anyone and everyone on the island and make sure to ask for Jeffrey!

Jeffrey took us to an off-the-beaten-path beach that was secluded with very few people, it was gorgeous, we were able to take our shoes off and walk in the ocean, best part of the tour.

The most memorable part of our tour was Jeffrey…he allowed us to make suggestions on what we wanted to see and do and that’s what we did… He was very personable and knowledgeable about his home. Jeffrey was interested in who we were and where we were from. If you have the chance to take this tour most definitely ask for him! Thanks a bunch Jeffrey!

A Personalized Way to See Oahu

Jeffrey understood how to make his tour personalized just for us! We met him after our Hawaiian cruise was over on a Saturday morning. He loaded our luggage into the back of his spotless van, and chatted with us (4 seniors) while taking us all around Oahu. He took us to scenic stops and fun stops (chocolate tasting and Dole plantation) all the while giving us historical and cultural facts about Oahu along the way. The day just flew by! We took pictures, had lunch on our own, and before we knew it our time was over. Jeffrey spent the entire day with us and even dropped us off at the airport!

A Pleasant, Enjoyable, and Stress-Free Day!

Our last day in Oahu was spent on The Real Hawaii Private Tour and it turned out to be our best outing. We circled the island and saw and learned about sights we didn’t expect to see. Patrick was our tour guide. He was most knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. My two friends and I are all retired. He customized our tour to cater to our interests and needs. We had many questions and Patrick took the time to provide us with facts and inside stories related to Hawaii’s history, including other interesting points we stopped at. We even experienced rum-tasting which was truly a unique experience. Because we were all in search of authentic local cuisine, something we had difficulty finding within the surroundings of our hotel, we were taken to a hole-in-the wall place with a poi factory at the back. We ordered poi, laulau, and kalua pig (his recommendations). Patrick took us to a nearby park for a relaxing picnic lunch. Having a great view of Chinaman’s Hat was a bonus. It was a most pleasant, enjoyable, and stress-free day. I highly recommend this tour to my family and friends and anyone else who might read this review. Many thanks to Patrick!

If you are flexible and want to see the real Hawaii...this is for you...especially if you want to experience local food and flair.
