Extremely User Un-Friendly, Refund Requested

We have taken many Hop-On Hop-Off Bus trips in many cities. We have never had to go to a specific location to pick up our tickets and this was not indicated when we booked the excursion. Typically, you show your QR code on a bus and your tickets are activated. The address on the Viator website is different from the website the company who runs this excursion gave us and required an Uber or Taxi Ride ($20 minimum) to activate the tickets. We were confused about the address, didn't want to chance taken an Uber to the wrong location and have requested a refund. After I requested the refund, we were told we could have taken one of their buses to the ticket activation location. Why were we not told this in the beginning? We are savvy travelers, but this particular excursion was not user friendly. I want a refund as we didn't use the services.

Nice way to get an overall view of the area. Problem is there are not enough trollies so you end up standing if not st front of the line. Don't get off, you may not be able to get back on. Drivers do a good job with their dialog.

Jon was our trolley bus driver and he did an amazing job as a narrator. He made the trip so delightful and very enjoyable. Blue Line pass was breathtaking.

I will suggest to take the trolley to others, but I will have to warn them of the pit falls

I really enjoyed the tour guides information they shared with us Especially enjoyed Jon on the blue line and Nancy on the red line. I and others had a hard time with the information given to us from the office .ie not telling us we had to go to the Harbor side when we picked up early trolley at Prince Waikiki. And telling us that the Tower wss closed, one place I really wanted to.see. Internet says its open but I missed it And biggest thing was we were picked up at airport and dropped.off at the pier 3 blocks from our resort 1777 Ala Moana Waikiki Marina Resort at Illaki. We weren't even dropped off on Ala Moana!!! We had someone to meet and had to rush over with all our luggage. I hurt my knee as the drop from the bus to the ground where he parked seemed like it was 3 foot down. I'm sure it was more like 18 " but I hit hard

The trolly itself was great and the views were great!!! Our driver Z was very knowledgeable on our tour! He was too funny!! Blue line is the best! The only thing is that there were a lot of elderly people from the cruise ships that were very rude!! Be careful of them!!

Frankly, waiting in line for almost 3 hours for a 1 and a half ride is not my idea of a pleasant city tour. However, once you’re onboard and seated, it’s informative and enjoyable.

Wasn't able to get on due to no room. People were rude and wouldn't move to make room,on seats or standing. Took hours to find pick up points. Unable to get to use all lines due to the above. If you got off to see something, nothing came back to collect you. Waste of money, should be given a refund! Not my fault about 2 extra cruise ships etc,should cater for tickets purchased. Not just take their money. Disappointed

Turk was one of the drivers I most enjoyed. I purchased the 7 day multi pass. The pass saved me hundreds of dollar on ride share. Each trolley line had stops that accommodated all my tourist needs. Highly recommend the purchase.

Water main Break Trolley

I think that the trolley was delayed due to a water main break overshadowed our enjoyment of the experience. The driver told us he would go through this quickly to make up for lost time. We, therefore, did not stop and explore the area, we just got off at the closest stop to our hotel.

The tour which included Diamond Head was amazing we walked the trail and most excited to see the trolley when finished the hike. When I return to Hawaii, I will try each trolley and experience Wakaki. This is the most economical way to see the island/

I was reluctant to take the trolley because I never rode on before and am traveling with just my teen. However, everything was very easy to follow and it was a nice change of pace. I normally just Uber from one spot to the next but this was a good experience. Got to see a lot and learned some Hawaiian history. Great experience
