We were picked up punctually at our hotel and taken to the marina. We sat on the upper deck and had great views. We saw a humpback whale, a sea turtle, a school of black tuna, cormorants, egrets and pelicans. Chachacual Beach is lovely and we enjoyed our time there. The young man driving the boat was excellent and it was easy getting on and off the boat. The crew were friendly and helpful. The trip was well-organized and was run on time. We had an awesome day and highly recommend this tour!! Thank you.

The boat ride was great, plenty of beverages on board, the beach we spent time at to enjoy and snorkel at was wonderful. We saw a lot of fish, a manta ray, and puffer fish. On the way back, we saw a whale and her baby, a manta ray skimming the surface, and beautiful scenery.

Good value for money beach stay with snorkeling

The tour is a good value for money if you like a beach stay. The beach was excellent. The boat was very good. The team on the boat took a great care of us. They offered professional photographer, water and sodas. The commentary was in two languages with equal attention to both. In addition, and it is not guaranteed, we saw turtles, jumping ray, mother and cub whales. Finally, to be able to make it to our cruise ship in time, we had to skip lunch in a good restaurant at the end of the tour. We were thinking about taking a taxi to town, but Paraiso were kind enough to send a van to pick us up at the restaurant. It was not even in the advertised program of the tour. Thank you Jose for waiting for us with the van ready when we arrived at the restaurant.

A Very Nice Tour of the Bays

Transportation from and back to the hotel was air conditioned and comfortable. A very nice and informative tour of the bays. The beach where the tour guides take you for swimming is amazing. The stay at the restaurant area was a little to long. Overall, a great trip.

Good way to spend the day in Huatulco

Personally I felt we spent a little too long at both the beach and the restaurant but I know others felt differently. Overall I think it was a very good tour. The staff were courteous and well trained and did a good job taking care of the clients. It would have been nice to have soft drinks or even beer on the boat but I know that would have cost more and beer maybe not even be allowed since they were lots of children. There was a restroom on the boat but like lots of nautical small boat restrooms it was a little cramped and not 100% clean. Overall a great value for this type of trip.

What an awesome day! Tour was very organized w pick up and drop off at hotel. Staff were great! Snorkeling was really excellent and reefs close to shore... safe and calm water. The restaurant at a seclude beach was delicious and freshes seafood anywhere! Saw a whale breach close to boat while cruising the shoreline. Boat has roof and canopy for sun protection. Bring lots of pesos for tips, local merchants. This the highlight of any Bahai Huatulco trip! Money well soent!!

Excellent crew and stunning beaches

The boat crew was excellent and the tour was guided in spanish and english despite there only being 6 english speaking guests out of the 30+ people. I really appreciated that they were so inclusive and also checked in with everyone several times throughout the day to make sure everyone was having a good time. The hotel shuttle and entire day went without a hitch and we really enjoyed our time. The tour company sent out a message the day before to remind us of the things we should bring and the extra fees that need to be paid for the marina and park etc. so nothing came as a surprise. In the two stops that we made we spent more than twice as much on the shade umbrella, snorkel gear, food and drinks and tips as we did on the tour itself, so be aware that the cost of the tour is no where near what you will be spending that day. I will be recommending this tour to friends for sure!

Perfect day in Haultuco

We were met just off the pier and escorted to the boat area. They assisted in getting us snorkel gear. Exchange rate from USD to peso was a bit vague, as tour says $20 and we paid more like $13. Our boat arrived and we all boarded. Boat was quite full. Mainly Spanish tourists, but guide gave all information in English too. They brought the boat to shore two places…one for snorkeling and beach time. They assisted those wanted to snorkel on how to use the equipment and actually took us all to the reefs. The 2nd stop was for lunch and beach. We had no interest in lunch but they were happy to give us a table and we got chips and guacamole. The tour company drove us directly to the marina so we would be back in plenty of time for our departure.

Good place to snorkel,...

Good place to snorkel, but they made me rent the snorkel equipment even though I had my own. You spend 2 hrs at a lunch spot which can be too long, but I went snorkeling on the little bay. Make sure you bring lots of cash. I thought I was going to be OK with 500 pesos, but I would’ve been better with twice as much. The lunch place they take you to is pricey.

Lots of great wildlife. Be wary of the additional costs.

Loved the views and the wildlife. Saw a humpback whale, manta rays, a school of smaller rays that were leaping out of the water, a turtle and thousands of birds. The snorkelling was decent. The downside was being told that it was "mandatory" to shell out an additional 200 pesos for a life jacket and fins when we already had our own masks and snorkels. And then when we got to the snorkelling beach we never used the life jacket (we used the fins since we had them). Note- we are experienced snorkelers and scuba divers- if you not experienced please rent the life jacket. Also, frustrating that we were asked to pay 50 pesos each for a "National Park Fee" then found out that less than half of us were told that and so it is unclear if it was necessary. Finally, they took us to a beautiful beach to snorkel and relax for 2 hrs, but we were expected to pay $250 peso to "rent" chairs/umbrella- so the choice was sit in the blazing sun on the sand or pay the $250. Staying on the boat was not allowed We went snorkelling for the whole two hours, although we were told that it was their preference that we did not go snorkelling on our own. The staff were amazing and attentive. Just be wary of all the additional charges.
