Great value, much more than a food tour!

Kurt is a wealth of information because of his journalism background as well as growing up on a farm in Tyrol. His energy, enthusiasm and charm make him a perfect leader for this tour. Make this your first stop when you arrive in Innsbruck so that you can visit places he recommends. Well worth doing, highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time walking through the streets of Innsbruck, sampling a wide range of food and drink as we went while learning about the town and country as well. Our guide was funny, knowledgeable, and spoke with obvious love and pride. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend this to anyone visiting here.

Excellent and different from others

Kurt was a great guide and this food tour was more than four hours of great information, food history, food suggestions, and food! We have gone on many different food tours in Italy and this one was different and very worthwhile to do. One huge difference from every other food tour - we had a bag for the food tastings we couldn’t finish! We had the 10 am tour and couldn’t finish everything that evening for dinner!

This was perhaps not the most delicious food tour I have been on, but if you want to understand Tyrolean culture through the lens of its cuisine and culinarily traditions then this is a very well-done tour. Kurt, the tour guide who gives this tour, is also its creator, and you can feel 100% that this is a passion project for him. He knows the different business owners on the tour as both colleagues and friends, and I find it admirable that this tour helps sustain businesses that do things the traditional way and in a sustainable manner. It was an enjoyable tour and Kurt makes for great company with his many stories and engaging personality.
