Must do! It’s amazing up there! Go all the way to the top and then if you have kids come to the kids area as it’s amazing. Lots of ride ons and space for kids to play in the snow! Amazing experience. So beautiful.

Got there there too late to go to the top. Some advice about the latest time to be there in time would have been good by Viator. The part we did see was amazing though.

Take a funicular and tram ride to the top of Innsbruck in 20 minutes!

Quick, effective and inexpensive way to reach the top of Innsbruck and overlook the city. Easy to find the funicular train station in the heart of downtown Innsbruck. Take the modern and safe way to make it up over 15,000 feet to the top of the mountains overlooking the city. Relax at several cafe's and restaurants both half way up and then again at the top. Ride up and then back down at your own pace.

Breathtaking views at the top of the alps.. it was a wonderful activity. We didn’t eat at the restaurant because of lack of time but what a view to enjoy with your meal!!

This cable car trip is a must do in Innsbruck..the views from the top are just superb. Blue clear skies and looking down at Innsbruck city is an unforgettable experience. Nice cafe at the top to grab some snacks and coffee while enjoying the breeze adds to the trip experience

Worth booking, exchanged at the first stop for the pass, it took three different parts to get up and from there you can walk up a bit further to get to the very top but you get an amazing view without the walk if you don’t wish. Bring walking shoes if you are intending to do so I brought flat shoes and although I was fine would have been easier with proper footwear

The views were amazing , the cafe great The engineering a marvel The day was a warm 32 ° , crowds + and they packed us in like sardines. The 1st cable car not suitable for the hot weather , needed some air, shade over roof

This was a lovely tour, great way to see the town from above. It’s quite a self guided tour and the restaurant was great too. Lots of walking tracks and a zoo as well.

Breathtaking views and we were exceptionally lucky with the weather. Mind you, the cable car operators going up, were surly and kept shoving more people in when the car was already full.

The cable car and funicular were uneventful. There was absolutely no view due, I guess, to the weather but, it seems a very barren place anyway. Food at very top was not good.

This was such a beautiful trip! There is a small cafe with beer and wine at the top It was super cloudy and foggy when we went but still worth the trip!!!! Lots of stops on the way up and down with a lot of food and shops halfway, also an alpine zoo that we didn’t visit The views were spectacular

Nordkette in the Sunshine

We waited a few days until the clouds cleared and then caught the Nordkette Cable Car. The trip starts off in central Innsbruck by taking you underground and then up the side of the mountain to Hungerburg. We changed into a classical cable car and then travelled up in the open to Seegrube where we stopped over for coffee or hot chocolate and Apple strudel (or something else?). We then caught the next cable car up to Hafelekar where we walked to the very top and whilst standing there the clouds started to reform! We had an enjoyable, typically Austrian lunch at the top and then caught the three stages down, ending in the centre of Innsbruck

I walked all the way up. And got the cable car to go to the top and return all the way down. It's such an incredible place if you come to Innsbruck you must take the cable car.
