What To Expect

Following pickup from your Ocho Rios hotel, transfer to the all-terrain vehicle (ATV) rental center.

Get a short safety briefing from your expert guides and get outfitted with equipment for your adventure.

Rev your engines and take off through Jamaica's backcountry, following your guide through dense forests, local villages and the varied Caribbean terrain. Zoom around the Llandovery and Richmond estate grounds, both former sugar plantations from the 17th century. Learn about this era in Jamaica's history through your guide's commentary. 

Return to the rental center, then board your transportation for drop-off back at your hotel.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Not as described. We paid 270.00 USD to ride in circles for about 20 minutes. Charged for locker storage for our bags because our transport bus left us. Flinging horse fesces up in the air from the tires. There was no blue lagoon tour and described in the ad. No stopping or description or history of whatever the said plantation was. Just circles and basically figure eights. This is not an excursion. To top it off they put us on a private company transport van sending us back to our hotels after about an hour total from Chukka in Ocho Rios and back. When I went back to Chukka to explain our experience and how we felt taken advantage of with cost to value ratio. All they did was show us pictures of a drying up lagoon and said it's closed. When asked for a partial refund for not receiving the full experience they made up excuses and would not offer anything to make it right. This is our experience, might not be yours though. Just a warning.

Loved the ATV ride it was fun enjoyed the guides! We did kind of go in a circle but it was like an obstacle course still fun
Didn’t deliver what was promised

My daughter and I did the ATV ride. That was fun and the guides were friendly and knowledgeable. However, there was no promised: Discover Jamaica destination short film, lunch available for purchase, or most importantly, or “picturesque blue hole where you can jump from the platform into this crystal clear natural wonder”. When I asked about the blue hole, the employee said “oh, there is no life guard. They should have told you that” and then rambled a bit in circles. He blew me off and there was no resolution. No one could help clarify for me. So I overpaid for this adventure when part of it wasn’t delivered. Only do this if you just want to ONLY do the ATV as that is all you will do. There will be no food available, only very expensive drinks.

They ad for atv or dune buggies I brought my wife who does not drive expecting her to ride with me they no dune buggies and no 2 seating vehicles she had to wait at the place for hour and half waiting while me and son went atv and the ride was not exciting

Don't waste your money. We went down the same trail 2 times and then down the beach for about 60 yards. Total ride time was less than 30 minutes.

Very friendly staff and we enjoyed the ATV's! Ridge was very friendly and nice! The young lady who was working the tour was nice enough to share her lunch with my daughter and myself.
Fun but not much riding time

We did the ATV only and it was fun. There was also a beach opportunity which wasn't advertised when we booked the tour. It took a long time to get everything moving because we were with a large group of people along with another group of people who were horseback riding. The whole experience took 4 hours but we only were riding for 1 hour. I liked driving the ATV on the beach but felt like we were going in circles within the plantation. The swimming portion also required life vests which deterred a lot of people from swimming.

I had a great experience, the tour guides was awesome. Please try to go with a group that knows how to ride to avoid the continuous stops and/or slowing down. Before you drive the atv’s you go to a place to swim & take pics if you want. Overall great experience.

We have done many atv tours in many countries but this one was very disappointing. The staff was friendly and informative in the beginning. They have everyone ride in a big circle to split everyone into three groups: slow-fast. We are experienced riders and were put in a slow group…. It was miserable trying not to go fast because you have to stay in a line with a bunch of very slow riders. The ride itself was short and not exciting aside from the one beach spot you stop at for minutes to take pictures. Once you’re back to the building waiting to return to your hotel the staff hounds you for tips nonstop. The people at the bar were extremely rude and were making different prices for everyone based on race it seemed which was very sad and frustrating. Some of the people in our group were verbally fighting with staff it was uncomfortable. I would not recommend this excursion to anyone.
