Absolutely amazing day. Highly recommend this tour, which starts by going off the beaten track into upcountry Maui. You then join the main road to Hana for the way home, stopping at all the major sights. Our guide Everett was knowledgeable and friendly and drove very safely on a difficult road. Pick up was on time and the van incredibly comfortable. Lunch was also delicious at a beautiful flower farm. Definitely recommend this rather than the standard tour where you do the same road both ways.

Russell did a great job driving the twists and turns and giving us a great narrative along the way. We saw a lot of beautiful sights along the way. He did a great job of making us feel safe, and helped accommodate a passenger who became car sick along the way.

Everett (the guide and driver) did a wonderful job.
My only suggestion, learned later, is to point out where Charles Lindbergh is buried.

Absolutely amazing trip! Tony was such a fun and insightful tour guide. He would point out every detail and any slow parts of the drive he would tell story time of Hawaiian history. The black sand beach and waterfall pool were beautiful and refreshing. Must pickup a few loads of banana bread, it’s the best in Maui.

We had an excellent time during this tour. Doug and Tony from Hawaiian Style Tours did an excellent job making the attendees feel welcome and shared their experiences living in maui. You will enjoy the various stops along this reverse trip on the road to hana.

The guides, Doug and Bobby, were wonderful! They are locals who loved to share their knowledge of the Hawaiian culture and islands. They were professional, courteous, and friendly. By the end we felt like Ohana! They also had to diffuse a difficult situation and did so with grace and professionalism. True gentlemen and it was an honor to spend the day with them. It didn’t hurt that we could leave the driving to someone else!

We highly recommend this reverse tour to Hana. Our tour guide, Doug was amazing! He was extremely knowledgeable about Maui as well as the other islands. His personal stories and island history made this tour a unique and entertaining experience. Having our coffee/breakfast and lunch preordered saved a lot of time. We definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanted to see the road to Hana…don’t drive!

We had an amazing tour experience with Doug and Everett. We opted for the private tour with Everett and he did not disappoint with his knowledge of the island and great stories. Every detail was thought out — from coffee and light breakfast to multiple stops offered for photo ops AND bathroom breaks, a definite consideration if traveling with kids or more seasoned travelers.
This is definitely the way to enjoy the beauty of the ride with no stress trying to navigate the Road, the beauty of which cannot be overstated. Highly recommend this service!
One final point: for those who like seeing a bit of how people live, Doug even offers a quick stop off at the home of his parents (less than 10 minutes)! An absolute treat to feed their goats and tour the grounds. It only speaks to how hospitable they all are.
