What To Expect

Take your Maui trip to new heights as you enjoy a luxurious small-group sightseeing trip to Hana by Limo-Van followed by a sky-high helicopter flight back to your starting point. It’s the ultimate luxurious opportunity to experience this famous Maui adventure.

Start your trip at Maui’s Kahului Heliport in the early or late morning (depending on the trip option selected), climbing on board your sumptuously-appointed Limo-Van to make your way to Hana. Featuring extra-large windows, plush seats and accommodating a maximum of six, this van ensures you’ll enjoy the ultimate in comfort during your ride to Hana.

As you make your way along this incredibly scenic drive, enjoy a few rest stops that allow you to get a sense for the surrounding area. Check out the charming town of Ke’anae, Wai’anapanapa State Park and Waikani Falls along the way, eventually reaching the isolated tropical splendor of Hana. Discover the history of the native Hawaiians and learn about their culture, then get a few photos at the lush waterfalls and sparkling pools where you can cool off with a swim.

You’ll also enjoy a tasty Pacific Rim lunch during one of your roadtrip stops. Dig into a meal of fish, chicken, fresh tropical fruit and more, all served on luxurious linen place settings at a beautiful beachside setting. A sample lunch menu is listed in the Itinerary section below.

When it’s time to return home, don’t worry about backtracking by car. Instead, make the trip back in style aboard a 6-passenger, air-conditioned ‘A-Star’ jet helicopter. Celebrate your day of adventure with a 36-minute trip above the amazing scenery of Maui, taking in such famous sights as Haleakala Crater (one of the world’s biggest dormant volcanoes) along with gorgeous hidden waterfalls and the rugged coastline. Weight Restrictions: Due to FAA regulations, all passengers and bags must be weighed at check-in. For each passenger weighing 240 pounds or more, there is an extra charge. This is for the safety and comfort of all passengers. This is payable directly to the tour operator, no later than, one day before the tour. All passengers are weighed by the helicopter company upon check-in.
Under representation of body weight may result in cancellation at check-in with no refund.

All passenger weights MUST be advised at time of booking. Maximum weight limit of 325 pounds per person. Please contact tour operator should your reported weight change prior to the tour date.
To maintain the safety and capacity weight restrictions associated with this tour, individual passengers weighing between 240 lbs (109 kg) and 290 lbs (131 kg) OR any two passengers traveling together with a combined weight over 420 lbs (190 kg) will be charged an extra $434.03 payable directly to the tour operator, no later than, one day before the tour. Guests must be ambulatory. Walkers, Wheelchairs and/or Scooters, of any kind, are not permitted. Guests with heart or respiratory conditions, oxygen tanks, or generators can not participate. Maximum weight limit of 325 pounds per person.
Toddler Car Seats for children ages 4 through 9 years are available upon request and, at least, 48 hours prior to the start of tour time.
Tour durations, itineraries, viewable sights and flight patterns are subject to change, without notice, due to inclement weather or FAA flight rules and may be altered or canceled for safety or comfort considertions.
In the event that the return flight portion of the Road to Hana luxury Limo-Van Tour with Helicopter Flight, AM Tour - Fly-Dine-Tour is canceled to due inclement weather or FAA flight rules, Guests will be returned via Limo-Van to the starting point of the tour at the Kahuui Heliport. Guests will be provided with a 50 percent refund of the tour price they paid.

The best of the best. Maximize your day! Fly in and drive out or versa visa. Our pilot was smooth and trustworthy, our guide on the ground was so prepared it was perfect. White tablecloth luncheon next to black sand beach then a nice drive back stopping at the best spots for swimming and shaved ice. Actually I have never had better tour.

The ride up to Hana was great! Although it is a lengthy trip, our driver Scott made it very memorable, and was an outstanding guide. Once done with the tour and picnic lunch, we boarded the helicopter at Hana airport and experienced an amazing flight with our pilot / guide Chris who was also excellent. We would highly recommend this tour as a way to experience the road to Hana and an aerial view of that side of the island of Maui!

This tour is worth every penny spent! Started the tour at the Heliport by the airport, jumped in a nice van with two other couples to tour the Road to Hana. Gail was our tour guide and she was VERY knowledgeable. Loved hearing all of her stories about Hana and our stops to see incredible views made the trip so fun! Gail dropped us off at the heliport in Hana and we were picked up by Derek, the pilot. AMAZING!! He flew us around the island and over the ocean to watch whales playing in the water. We even saw a giant manta ray. This is a must if you are visiting Maui - it is a trip I'll never forget!

Well worth the money

We wanted to see the black sand beach in Hana but also wanted to take a helicopter ride. This tour took care of both!! It's small and personal. No more than 6 people in the tour, we had 4. You're in a comfy, limo van, with ample space and windows. Scott was our tour guide. He was AWESOME!! He took us to some great places and was very conscious of time without making us feel rushed. Our pilot Sami was also great! She made sure everyone got to see all the waterfalls and whales! I strongly recommend this tour. It's well worth the money.

Holy moly was that a fantastic trip! We hesitated to do it but after thinking about it we decided what the heck. We’ve driven to Hana 3 times in the past and it’s great but it’s all day and lots of driving on twisty roads where the driver doesn’t get to look at the views. We did the early morning drive up and afternoon flight back and were glad we did! Early morning drive up, there were 6 of us and the driver (Gayle who was wonderful!!!). Because it was early there was little to no traffic so we had the highway almost to ourselves! And for once I (driver) could actually view the beautiful views! Then there was the helicopter ride back. Wow, just wow!!! Matt, our pilot, was phenomenal. Informative, friendly and we saw the beauty of Maui that only a helicopter can see. This is a for sure thing to do folks!!!!

I’m so happy we decided to take this tour rather than do it on our own. Our tour guide, Scott, provided history and pointed out every highlight on our Road to Hana!! He even took photos of us using some awesome techniques!!! Lunch was fabulous and topped off by the black beach! To complete the tour, we rode back in a helicopter with another wonderful guide, Derek!! The scenery was breathtaking and the commentary was equally entertaining - complete with musical score that enhanced our experience! Felt like I was in the opening scene of Jurassic Park!

Helicopter ride was absolutely amazing and unforgettable and pilot Derek was GREAT. However, the real shining star of this tour is tour guide SCOTT. Scott was an absolute rockstar.
