Overview
Travelers to Bali who are short on time but still want to experience the best of Lombok’s Gili Islands will enjoy this private full-day tour. You’ll be picked up from your hotel in Bali early in the morning and transferred to Lombok by speedboat. Spend several hours snorkeling at Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, and Gili Air, looking out for turtles, coral, and tropical fish. Return to Bali in the evening.

Excellent and well organized tour. Fantastic snorkeling and viewing of sea turtles. Great and friendly that took super underwater pics and video clips. To further improve the tour, the return with fast boat to Bali could be done later than 3 pm. This would maximize the total your experience.

We had 2 couples and had an amazing experience. Communication was perfect. I would have given this experience a 5 start, but snorkeling gear was old and broken down. If you can update gear, this would have been perfect. Thank you.

Wir wurden pünktlich von unserem Hotel in Bali abgeholt und nach Padang Bai gefahren. Von dort aus ging es mit der Schnell-Fähre auf die Gilis. Da Anreise hat insgesamt ca. 4 Stunden gedauert. Die Überfahrt war aufgrund des starken Seeganges sehr unruhig. Dennoch war die Fahrt gut auszuhalten, da die Fähre recht modern war.
Auf den Gilis angekommen, wurden wir direkt am Bootssteg von unserem Guide Dedenk in Empfang genommen und stiegen in ein kleines Boot um, wo wir unseren Schnorchelguide Moldy kennenlernten.
Bevor unsere Tour startete, informierten uns unsere beiden Guides über den Ablauf. Aufgrund des starken Seeganges mussten wir Gili Trawangan (Turtle Spot) leider ausfallen lassen und starteten direkt mit den Statuen in Gili Meno.
Auch wenn dieser Spot sehr voll war, sollte man sich das Riff und vor allem die farbenreichen Fische auf keinen Fall entgehen lassen! Auch dauerte es nicht lange, bis wir die erste Schildkröte bestauenen durften.
Nachdem wir die Unterwasserwelt von Gili Meno an zwei Spots erkundet hatten, fuhren wir weiter nach Gili Air. Unsere Guides wählten einen Spot entfernt der Massen. Hier war die Wassertiefe recht flach, sodass wir die Korallen und Fische von Nahen bestauen konnten. Im Flachwasser entdeckte ich eine echte Karettschildkröte, die zwischen den Korallen auf Nahrungssuche war. Sie fast eine halbe Stunde nur zu dritt (wir zwei und unser Guide) beobachten und mit ihr schwimmen zu können, war das absolute Highlight unserer Tour!
Unser Schnorchelguide Moldy hat großartige Foto- und Videoaufnahmen von der Schildkröte und uns mit seiner GoPro gemacht, die wir vom Touroperator am Abend per WhatsApp erhalten haben.
