Lots of fun! The staff was very friendly and helpful. They made us feel safe and welcomed at all times. You get a whole lot of experience for the money and a nice lunch with a great view. Super worth it! I would recommend getting the picture package but if you bring a go pro you may just want to use that because you will only receive a few pictures that are post worthy from the crew.

This was a great experience best thing we did in Costa Rica. I would recommend to everyone. The guides are awesome super fun and safe. Jose, Cesar and Elder were the best. The trip had enough adventure for anyone but was extremely safe.

Our kids are 14, 11 and 8 years old and they were all able to do this. My husband did not enjoy jumping into the pools (you have to be careful not to hit rocks), but was ok with everything else. I haven’t done anything like this before, so it was a thrill for me. My two older kids have done zip lining and rappelling before things before at summer camp, so not as much of a thrill, but they enjoyed themselves.
I bought a wet bag for this, but ended up putting it in a locker. We did use a water proof container for 1 phone so we could take pictures. It was a kind with a strong string that goes your neck and has a clear pouch for your phone. They will take pictures of you that you can pay for at the end. Do not bring jewelry with you. Bring a change of clothes so you aren’t sitting in wet clothes for lunch at the restaurant.
Time on the tour, around 1.5 hours, overall time including transportation and lunch at the restaurant near Mistico Hanging bridges, around 4 hours.
The lunch was buffet style (it was all laid out in front of us) but we were only allowed to fill our plates once and a man served us. Salad, beans/rice, spaghetti/meat sauce, plantains and some other items.

This was an amazing first activity to do when my husband and I arrived in Costa Rica! It had the perfect amount of adventure and relaxation! Also the food was incredible!! It was a long day but hanging out in the hot springs afterwards was a perfect ending to the day. Also we are so happy we had a tour guide because we would not have seen much of the wild life if we had just done the hanging bridges by ourselves.

We did this experience on our first day of our trip, what a way to start our vacation with a bang! This was so much fun, we got completely soaked with all the pool jumps but it was a really great time. The guides were all very friendly and funny and made it a very memorable experience. Easy for a beginner to do as well.

I had a BLAST canyoneering with the folks at La Roca. I was going in as a solo traveler and felt nothing but safe the entire time.
Our guides kept us laughing throughout the entire experience, thankfully easing away our groups nerves. Cesar was even able to help calm down a young kid in our group who was initially very nervous. He ended up being able to complete the entire activity with us all rooting him on. Very heartwarming. The adventure was amazing (but oh so wet and cold, definitely would consider wearing a long sleeve), but the guides made it unforgettable. Shouts out Byron, Kendel, Cesar, Elder and all the guys working hard at La Roca. PS definitely get the picture package, when I went it was 10$ cash or 20$ credit card.

This was such a fun and refreshing activity! Neither my boyfriend, nor I had prior Canyoning experience, though we’ve been zip lining plenty. We both felt completely safe on this trip and had loads of fun. Our guides were hilarious though definitely put safety first. The trip was well organized. Instructions were very clear and they walked us through step-by-step, eliminating any possibility of stress or anxiety about what was ahead. Cesar, Byron, Byron’s brother, who’s name we are forgetting… And the others all were wonderful. We highly recommend this company!
