What To Expect

Meet your guide at Sky Adventures in Arenal Park for a 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., or 3p.m. tour. Ascend to 4,100 feet (1,250 meter) into the canopy in an open-air gondola until your reach an observation deck with views of Arenal Volcano and Lake. Take in the views, and then strap on your harness to begin your zipline adventure.

For two full hours, fly down a series of seven cables over the Costa Rican rain forest on a tour guaranteed to please travelers of all ages and abilities. Between adrenaline spikes, look out for wildlife like howler monkeys, toucans, and iguanas from the platforms. Make your way back to your hotel approximately two-and-a-half hours after your tour start time.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

SO FREAKING FUN!!! All of the guides were super funny and made sure you're nice and secure. The views were unbeatable as you haul a** above the canopy hundreds of feet in the air. Best time ever. Would do it 100 times again

Best zip-lining experience ever!

It was an exhilarating experience. I have never zip-lined before and I must say they did a great job explaining what position you need to be in and how to land. All the equipment was very safe. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also the views were spectacular. I would do this experience again in a heart beat.

The zipline tour was amazing! Even though I was terrified, I loved every second of it! The views were incredible. The lines were very quick and very high up! My two adult children and I loved it. The equipment was safe and up-to-date. If you do not like to zip line, I highly recommend at least taking the sky tram! Highly recommend this tour the staff were efficient and professional.

My experience here was really great. I was very scared after the practice line. The workers were amazing & had noticed how scared I was to do the bigger lines & for the next 2 the workers had offered to zip line with me & it made me feel much better.. after that I felt okay to do it on my own. The zip lines are very high up and long however it’s worth giving it a go. The view is the most beautiful view ever & like I said the workers are so patient & will absolutely make you feel so safe during your experience!

Staff was amazing. They monitor your equipment throughout the journey. My husband rented the go pro and now we have lasting memories. The views are outstanding and Big Daddy will blow you away.

Exhilarating experience ziplining with Sky Adventures. My favorite part was ziplining 55 miles an hour through an opening in the rainforest. They really emphasized safety and clear instructions were given which eased my fears. If you want an adrenaline pumping experience, book with Sky Adventures. They also have transportation for an extra fee if you want to be picked up from your hotel

This was truly amazing and I cannot believe I did it. I was terrified the entire time! But could probably be easily enticed to do again. All the guides are kind, fun, and absolutely amazing. Plus sized people may need to break earlier on (I almost took a guide out) AND legs open from beginning vs crossed - the speed is unreal! Also no walking except at the end down steps. Also a young boy (maybe 8 or 9) and he did it in tandem with a guide (also saw an older gentleman do this as well for the first line). Get the pics! Get the go cam!

If you think you have ziplined before and this is a pass, think again. This is an experience of a lifetime. The lines are long and the view of Lake Arenal and the rainforest is incredibly beautiful. The staff is super competent and go over and beyond when required.

The reason I gave this 3 stars is because of the weather clearly, NOT the fault of Viator tours or the Sky Adventure Park. We booked the ziplining adventure several weeks before our trip. On the day we were booked to go, the skies opened and we were ziplining in a torrential downpour. So, for the first zipline, we were in a low lying cloud and couldn't see a thing. After that, the rain was so hard that you could barely open your eyes, plus we were all freezing and soaking wet. The employees of the zipline were fabulous, it was very organized and the equipment was great. So, my advice would be to wait until a few days before to book your tour, because I did not love paying almost 300 for 4 people and be miserable due to the weather.

Great fun ziplining very high over the canopy. The guides were great and the experience fantastic. The cost was reasonable except for the photos. It was 57 for very few photos because the equipment which catches you coming into the landing platform was not working. So the only photos are leaving the platform. They should of charged less due to that but we wanted to have something to remember the trip by so we bought them. Great fun would highly recommend.

We scheduled the 12:30 zip line tour/gondola ride. It was a great experience. The operators were all very nice,informative, and funny. They made us feel very comfortable and safe riding the zip line. It's pretty cool to zoom over the tree tops of the rain forest, I may have considered a hike or hanging bridge after but I did not book it. I defiantly recommend doing this while in Costa Rica.

We're old and out of shape, but decided to feel like we're teenagers again! Had a great time and we have this fond memory to bring back with us! We were totally comfortable with the staff and felt their attention to safety was paramount. These folks really set our mind at ease! Also loved the professional photos ...now we can prove to our grandchildren that we actually did this!
