Visited 3 of the 5 villages using train transportation from La Spezia. Guide was knowledgeable and made traveling to/from port very simple. Wish we had more time at the villages but not an issue with provider, they did what they could given train schedules to maximize our time at the villages.

Apathetic guide

The guide, while apparently knowledgeable, chose to not impart much information and virtually no time other than dumping the group into three of the towns and saying we will meet back here at the train station in x minutes. One of the members was urgently seeking a washroom (which are conveniently located on all trains) while waiting for the train and the guide did not tell her about them. At the end, instead of guiding back to the cruise port, left us at the train station to find our own way back.

Beatrice was an amazing tour leader who accommodated our small group’s whims (only 3 of us) with ease. The Cinque Terre villages were remarkable! Highly recommend!! Beatrice took genuine interest in all of us and her knowledge of both Liguria and Tuscany was great. Her recommendation for gelato in San Gimignano later in our tour was sublime!

Beautiful towns. Very hot (can’t control that). Nice tour. Plenty of free time There were two opportunities to swim in the ocean. Consider bringing a towel and suits - good for the little ones on such a hot day.

Cinque Terre has been on my bucket list for a long time, so when our cruise was scheduled to port at La Spezia, I booked this tour that took us to three of the five villages. It was an excellent choice. Our tour guide Romina is a La Spezia native who knows the area well and capably shepherded our group on and off the crowded trains and through the three beautiful villages. It was great to have that local knowledge and perspective to make sure we made the most of our time there and got back to our ship on time. Highly recommend this tour.

Phenomenal tour of Cinque Terre! Our tour guide was very informative and personable. She was a local and was so proud of her heritage. We had enough time in three towns in Cinque Terre. It involved a lot of walking but our guide paced the walking. The only negative was the crowded train. We had to stand a few times, but it was definitely worth our visit to this beautiful area.

Was advised night before excursion train ticket increased therefore they have to charge us additional 40euros. Ticket increased over 2 months ago yet we were only advised night before our excursion leaving us absolutely no option but to pay the additional because it was too late to replace with another excursion and too late to cancel to avoid fee. The tour itself was not a a guided tour. Guide basically took us to the train, mentioned a few things, and we were on our own until we had to meet her at a specific time. VERY DISAPPOINTING.. Woukd not recommend this tour.

The trip itself is nice . Nice to have a guide to direct you and answer questions with information. My issue is and I will be reporting it to my credit card company is that after I was charged for the original price I booked months ago and too late to cancel as it was under the 24 hr mark I got an email telling me I had to pay 20 euros more per person so a total of 60 to continue with the trip because the train fare went up . It would’ve been good to know before I could not get. My money back . Just saying trip was booked months ago so did they raise the fare 24 hrs before I think not. It’s very u professional almost like a scam and people on the train that did alone verified the ticket was 10 euros so no increase or very small not what I got charged .

Wouldn’t recommend this tour company.

The tour company raised the price after a confirmed booking saying the train tickets had gone up. The tour company also needs to provide headset. With 22 to 24 people it was very hard to hear the guide although she tried her best.

Our trip to Cinque Terre was wonderful with this experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable and did a great job helping us navigate the trains through Cinque Terre. At each town we were given enough knowledge to highlight some of the unique parts of each town, but it was brief enough to give us plenty of time to explore on our own. The limoncino tasting was a great experience, though it is worth noting that the tasting is just a single stop along the trip. Our guide did a wonderful job explaining the differences between limoncello and limoncino and gave us some great advice on what variety we should bring back as a memento of our trip.
