What To Expect

Enjoy pickup at select hotels on the Las Vegas Strip (additional cost) or make your own way to the departure point for the approximate 45-minute drive to the launch location.

Upon arrival in Pahrump, listen to a short safety briefing from your pilot and guide, then climb into the basket and set off. Soar over Pahrump’s residential areas and the Pahrump Valley; and enjoy unobstructed views of the desert landscapes and mountains.

After the flight, your pilot guides the balloon toward earth. On touchdown, enjoy a Champagne toast and receive a flight certificate.

Following this, return to Las Vegas for drop-off.

Bonus: During the winter months, you are able to choose between a sunrise departure.

  • Confirmation will be received at time of booking, unless booked within 8 hours of travel. In this case confirmation will be received as soon as possible, subject to availability
  • All passengers must be 6 years of age or older. Age 6-17 requires parent or guardian to fly.
  • Maximum weight per passenger cannot exceed 280lbs / 127 Kilograms / 20 stone, passengers may be asked to be weighed for accuracy at check-in
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • It is strongly recommended that someone in the party be able to communicate in English
  • Back, Neck, Knee, Hip, Joint, Bone, Osteoporosis or Similar Physical issues within 2 years
  • Inability to walk unassisted or stand for one hour unassisted. Canes / Walkers / Wheel-chairs / Scooters not permitted
  • Recent Surgeries or Other Medical Conditions that may be aggravated during flight and landing
  • Not recommended for travelers with back problems
  • Not recommended for pregnant travelers
  • No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
  • Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Totally worth it!!! We were blessed to enjoy this wonderful experience just before the Vegas Coronavirus shutdown. They drove us 1 hour from Vegas. Our pilot Daniel was very friendly and knowledgeable. We went up to 10,000 feet and it was absolutely beautiful!

Pilot Jeff and our driver Shaun (I believe was his name) were great, friendly, informative and funny. This was my first flight and I was nervous but it was very smooth didn’t even realize you’re in the air. Would recommend.

I have been to a couple hot air balloon festivals but have never been able to take a ride in one. Jeff our pilot was great, we didn’t have a lot of wind that day but enough to keep us moving. If you want to take a hot air balloon ride, I highly recommend it and Las Vegas Balloons!

What an amazing experience. Jeff was a wonderful pilot. Funny, charming and full of knowledge and stories of growing up flying balloons. It’s such a peaceful and serene morning and the champagne at the end was a lovely touch. Definitely recommend to anyone even considering trying it out. You will only regret not going!

I can't believe that having so many people on earth, the air baloon company did not video lift and landing, or use some drones to record the experience while flying. Everybody would be so thankful for having the experience recorded, and obviously, would pay for that material. Our photos are imposible to show the baloon lifting, flying or landing, as they must be taken from outside the passenger basket, and at some distance. As an air baloon ride, it was excellent. As an experience to show our children and grandchildren, no photos, no videos, an incredible disappointment

I didn’t have an experience because the balloon ride was cancelled and that is why I came to Vegas so I could experience the hot air balloon ride . The weather was perfect for the ride but it was canceled due to weather . Vegas sucked and I m easy to please!
