What To Expect

Take a break from the glitz and glam of Las Vegas and see a different yet equally colorful side of Nevada. Start your trip with convenient round-trip transportation from a Las Vegas hotel. Ride out into the Old West in the evening as the sun begins its descent.

Do your best cowboy or cowgirl impression as you mount a horse and ride into the Red Rock Canyon. The rust-colored walls and deep gorges are a jaw-dropping sight from the top of a desert mountain as the sunsets around you.

Let your horses rest back at camp while you rustle up an appetite for dinner. The campfire flames lick the night sky as the moon and stars light up your night. Steak, chicken, or fish is available with sides of salad, cowboy potatoes, and baked beans. Toast to the night with s’mores than return to Las Vegas with a full belly.

First time on a horse, though why I waited nearly 60 years is a mystery! We were Botha. Little anxious but the team helped us without being patronising. Long transfer 90mins there though only 45 back) Dinner was great, much better than expected Would definately do it again

Highlight of holiday!

This was the highlight of my holiday. Enjoyed every minute of the trip. It was magical being in red rock at sunset and being on horseback made it so special. You don’t need experience to do the ride the horses know what they are doing! Did was also unexpectedly good, enjoyed the steak . It’s about 40 minutes from the Strip and a great contrast to the pace there.

Despite inclement weather (rain and hail) while out on the trail, Romy and the other wranglers kept everyone calm and the horses all organized and we had a great time. The steak dinner was delicious and everyone was friendly and welcoming!

Just an absolutely fantastic tour and experience. Anyone nervous getting on a horse…don’t be. They were so gentle and knew right where to go. The guides were helpful and friendly. The food was great as well. One of the best steak dinners i’ve had in a while.

Wonderful guides, helped get my kids, husband and me situated on our mounts -both horses and mules -all very well behaved. Amazing views. Fun experience with prior riding experience and for those with none. Food afterwards was very good! Overall a highlight of our trip!! Definitely recommend.

Lovely experience! Riding was fun! I got a little chilly towards the end of the evening but soon warmed up back at the ranch. The bbq food was absolutely amazing. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Really good experience, and seen some lovely views. They plan in a stop and take photos on your own phone for you which is really good. Food was amazing steak was cooked really well and a massive piece. Sat outside by the fire was lovely but lost a star as I was expecting some entertainment like maybe music as its what I thought said on the intainary instead just talked which wasn't bad just expecting more. All staff were great

Such an amazing experience. Staff was wonderful. Van pick up convenient and on time. Dinner was delicious (my steak was cooked perfectly). They really take time helping you on and off the horses and mules. I was given a mule with less girth as I am 4 months post knee replacement. I was able to mount normally but getting off I was taken to the platform and helped off. That made it so easy and no strain on my new knee. I highly recommend the Sunset Trail Ride. Guides are so friendly and knowledgeable. I was on my own so had nice conversations with them.
