Additionally, participants should be aware that the Pletna boat ride might not be available during our afternoon tours because of their winter schedule. We appreciate your understanding, we strive to provide the best experience possible regardless of the season.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Highly recommend this tour! A short 45 minute road trip from Ljubljana and worth it in rain or shine! It rained on and off pretty much the entire day but our guide, Dusan really had his finger on the pulse with improvising order of events as and when the situation demanded. He was courteous, friendly and punctual too. We departed at 8:00 and returned about 14:00 hours. Grand tip : be sure to try the traditional Bled cake Dusan recommends! It looks huge - but really light, creamy and absolutely outstanding! 😋

My sister and I took this day trip to Lake Bled with Basil (he had a nickname that he told us he goes by, but that his real name is Basil and we remembered that, but not his nickname, sorry Basil!) But he was a fantastic tour guide, he was so knowledgeable and passionate about Slovenia and their history. He kept us engaged during the drive to and from Lake Bled, he answered all of our questions, and he was a hoot! My sister and I were laughing the whole time. I would definitely recommend this tour and keep your fingers crossed you get Basil as your guide!

Great experience 👍 although the van-bus had a small space between seats, I'm 190 cm (6'3) and couldn't fit in, so I had to sit with my legs in the isle 9 o'clock. Not comfortable for a tall person. The guide was informative in English and had a good jokes on the way. Overall it was a great place to see and not crowded.

A Great 6-Hour Trip to Lake Bled

What a great trip with a knowledgeable, humorous and friendly driver, Rocko (sorry for the spelling!). We had explanations provided for all the key landmarks and mountain ranges we passed and lots of questions about Slovenia were patiently answered. We were then able to go around the castle at Bled and be rowed across to the island on Lake Bled. Alternative ideas were provided to fill the time by Rocko that some of the group took up. Then more facts about Slovenia on the way home, including its music. Just a great 6 hours, thank-you.

The tour is well worth the money. Miha, the guide, is very knowledgeable and gave us small, digestible pieces of historical information. The places he drove us to were well-picked. There was no stress, although he probably had his itinerary always under control because he dropped us off exactly six hours later from when he picked us up. The group was small - only six people.

Lake Bled is an idyllic location. We so enjoyed visiting the castle, eating Slovenian cream cake and taking a boat ride across Lake Bled. Our tour guide Rocko was excellent.

The driver knew where to go, what stories and information to convey, how much free time to offer. He was generous with his time and his talents and interacted with all of the people on the tour in a way that led us to see that he is a natural for this profession.
