Got to see everything on my list of LA while tasting great food from local eateries I’d go back to. I wanted to be with a group because I was traveling alone & had a wonderful group. Alaina was a joy & explained history & architecture of the area. Fantastic

Delicious food and good company
Rebecca_B, Apr 2024
Jean A was very knowledgeable about the area and particularly the architecture of downtown Los Angeles. The food was a good variety and not too far to walk in between.
LA food feast

Overall fun, delicious and educational

Very entertaining and Alaina was lovely and knowledgeable. Consider skipping the Central Market. Yes, it’s an institution, but it’s so dirty and run down. That is the one area we didn’t enjoy. Everything else was great and we were lucky having such a great bunch of people in the group. Thank you
I had a great time!...

I had a great time! Scarlet was a great tour guide. I would recommend this tour to friends. Thanks again!
Great inside scoop

Walking through the Biltmore and hearing about the old Hollywood glam made the experience for me. The food picks pleased the whole family at one point or another and we were more than satisfied!
GREAT TOUR

Our tour guide, Chris, was AMAZING! He had great energy and was refreshingly passionate about his work. The tour provided a overview of LA social, cultural, and architectural history; all interwoven around tasty bites from an array of really cool downtown eateries.

Thank you so much for the glowing review. We're so happy you thought "Chris was Amazing!" He loves guiding our guests to some of the best food stops in DTLA, a neighborhood he calls home.
Wonderful Food-Filled Sunday Afternoon!
Barbara_G, Jan 2024
Our tour guide Chris was very knowledgeable about the area, its history, and the food scene. The food choices were very good. We were disappointed that we didn’t get to go to Guisados for tacos, but the pasta choice was excellent.
almost full
Jason_J, Jan 2024
The stops were delicious, but ended with most of the party feeling almost full and wanting just a bit more food. This may be because we only did 5 tastings and iirc there were supposed to be 6 stops, but it was on New Year's Eve and a Sunday so possibly the cheese stop was closed. Also we missed out on seeing the bookstore which might have also been closed. Guide, Scarlet, was friendly and knowledgeable. Had great anecdotes about DTLA and its history. Aside from wanting just one more bite a great time and recommend.
Good food, no utensils.. in thought out. But I enjoyed a guided tour of DTLA.

Chris was knowledgeable though a little unprepared, I felt. Probably would choose a different food tour were I to do it again.
Great Tour!

Robbie was a great guide! Knowledgeable and fun! The tour visited some out of the way places in the downtown district, an area that generally doesn’t get the attention of other areas of LA
Average at best
Maduka_E, Oct 2023
I had high expectations for this food tour, but unfortunately, it didn't meet them. The tour guide, Scarlet, began by having the group sign a waiver shortly after arriving a bit late. While she provided some informative insights into LA's history, her delivery could benefit from more enthusiasm. The food selections also left room for improvement.

Great guide, very clear and plenty of additional information. Superb food and more of it than we anticipated. Really good pace, not rushed. Time to chat to other people on the tour. Loved it
Great for visitors and locals alike

My in laws were in town, and we thought this would be a great way to see downtown, taste some good food, and learn a bit of history. Check, check, check! Our tour guide, Scarlet, was amazing! Highly recommend.

Interesting trip. The food is good! (except the taco is slightly too spicy) Perhaps we can try other kinds of food, like some Asian food?
Good variety of food
Tra_L, Jul 2023
I liked the variety in the Central market best. There was a good selection of dining venues on the tour. All of the food was good.
Awesome LA Food Tour!
Claude_M, Jul 2023
We had a great time with tour guide Robbie. Six great snacks and a nice walk around downtown LA. Robbie pointed out landmarks and talked about the history of the city as we walked and talked about the various food providers as we ate. Thanks, Robbie!
