Poor experience

Overall poor experience. Very little commentary given during the tour - the driver/guide occasionally pointed out a landmark as we sped through Hollywood. Our seatbelts did not work which was worrying given part of the trip takes you on the freeway. Would not recommend.

Great tour. Alana was very knowledgeable of all the LA main scenes and shared with us her extensive celebrity stories. She kept conversations lovely and made the tour fun an interesting. Would highly recommend.

An easy and convenient way to visit LA’s main tourist locations

Our tour guide was Alana. She was knowledgeable and funny. She made travelling through LA easy and fun. The tour was a great way to visit the Santa Monica Pier, LA’s farmers market, Griffith Observatory and Hollywood, without worrying about parking or the traffic.

Big disappointment

The tour guide/driver did the best she could . We had a day long downpour of rain and no provisions other than a half roll of paper towels were available to try to dry the seats for the entire bus. We understand the weather is beyond our control but everyone knew it was coming yet Management didn't prepare for it - ie maybe some towels or covered windows.. the owners were on their own vacation to Vegas and the storefront was closed. I sent 3 messages up to 3 days prior regarding hotel pickup as advertised and received 0 responses. So we incurred additional cost to meet at the store front, for something that was advertised as included. Very disappointing to say the least.

Best trip to LA in 1 day , great drivers and would recommend this to all coming to LA. Thanks Hollywood tours.

Going to Santa Monica Pier was awesome and loved the view from Griffith Park. With all the things to see there is not enough time due to traffic concerns and being back to the office by 5pm. I give this tour a 10 with 10 being the highest score.

This was a perfect see as much as you can in 1 day tour for me. From the excitement of Sunset Blvde to the beautiful sea view at Santa Monica and the yummy food at Farmers Market, this tour was great for a glimpse into the world of LA. Our tour guide Sammy was highly knowledgeable, and accommodating with a great sense of humour.

Dry tour guide whose main focus was making sure guests gave him tips. Tour was bland and can barely see if you weren’t in a window seat. Also, there needs to be assigned seating so it keeps the hostility down with people who showed up early and get cut in front of by those who just showed up. Very disorganized.

The tour guide was cool, but the spot where we went to see the Hollywood sign was EXTREMELY FAR! you cannot even see the sign clearly in a picture. I was disappointed because that's LA's most emblematic place. There are so much better spots to view the sign.

Good tour for LA highlights in a day

The tour was good and our guide Sammy provided lot of information on our way. It is good tour to do highlights of LA in a day, but not enough time if you would like to explore everything at a destination. Other problem we had was that we were given only 30 mins at Griffiths observatory even though itenary said we will be given one hour. 30 mins wasn't enough to explore the area and science museum.

Sammy our driver snd tour guide made the whole trip fantastic with his knowledge and great one liners! Recommend you ask for him! Whilst there were people who didn’t turn up it was a bit annoying as we had to wait he was very thoughtful of other people to wait. My husband and our 3 grandchildren from NZ took this tour in July 23

We arrived at the start of this tour to be happily met and welcomed by the fantastic Sammy … what a guy, he made this trip for us. So funny, wise, informative and so knowledgeable about all things LA ! Viator was easy to book and we thought value for money . We visited all the places we had read about and got all the pics we needed. Sammy was glad to slow down or make extra stops for more pics. A guy’s hat blew off on our bus so Sammy was happy to turn round to retrieve it… pure service ! We loved all his stories of Hollywood stars past and present. I fully recommend this tour …. Be sure to get Sammy too!! 😉 Suitable for all age groups
