In colder months this tour takes place in the morning for better light and temperature conditions. Gelato will be replace with a cake and coffee and there can be changes to stops due to different winter time openings.
This is mainly a biking tour, the best way to discover the whole city of Lucca especially the less known sights. Food and drink are included to give a relaxing break along the riding.
In case of rain we can not cancel the tour but we can give you the option to have a walking tour with the same itinerary.
Children are considered only if under 12 and they will have a children bike and a children menu

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Sara was great. We got so much history of Lucca from her which made being there all the more interesting. When we stopped for refreshments, she never hurried us. A fun way to see Lucca. Highly recommend.

Biking the walls were a highlight

Our guide Marta was knowledgable and engaging. We learned so much about Lucca as we biked all over the town, including the walls which was the highlight of the tour. The break to sample wine, meats and cheese was a nice way to connect with Marta and gave us a better appreciation for Lucca, our guide and our group, and the Italian culture. It was a good value.

Excellent tour through Luca, Marta provided such a beautiful description of historical sights delivered in memorable story fashion, a delicious board of fine meats, cheese, honey and bread with bruschetta and pate! More bike touring finish with gelato and chats. Perfect experience.

Don’t miss a bike tour of Lucca! Such a unique way to see the whole town. We did this experience on our first day here in order to get the lay of the land. My husband and I took this tour with Sara and we highly recommend the tour and Sara as the guide. She did a great job explaining the history behind the town and several of the monuments. We biked along the wall and went into Lucca too. We enjoyed small tastings and wine and ended with gelato.

From the crowded streets of Florence we went back in time within the lovely serene walls of Luca. Led by Rafael by bike through the “city” around the outskirts on the wall and everywhere in between with great story telling and information and food and wine it was my favorite of all the places we visited in Tuscany A must see and do for everyone !

Did this tour in early April 2023 with husband and tween daughter. Guide Luca was friendly and knowledgeable. Lucca is a beautiful city with a rich history and the treats along the way were delicious! Highly recommend for families with older kids who are competent bike riders. Ride was not strenuous but there is some traffic so some skill is needed for kiddos.
