Certainly it was our guide. So free with information and her experience, very personable. A winemaker herself, we found this aspect of the tour invaluable and we wished more wine had been included in order to learn from her!

Fun tour. So much food. Very informative about the life in Lucca up to present day. Even added in stops we requested. Highly recommend this! I will try making the parpedelli at home!

We had a phenomenal day with Valentina! She was so knowledgeable and patient with our large group of 10. We toured the city, stopped for photos and enjoyed all 6 places on the circuit. You will not be disappointed!

Giula was an excellent tour guide. Her knowledge of history and the region were exceptional. She made it so much more than a simple food tour. However, the foods were not a second thought. The restaurant and food choices were well choreographed.

A good way to get to know the city at the beginning of our stay. Valentina was a friendly and knowledgeable guide. The only problem is too much food! But we were able to take home what we could not manage. All interesting and tasty for us.

This was our first time in Lucca and the food tour with Valentina not only introduced us to fun foods like chickpea crust pizza, but also introduced us to the beautiful little town!

Our tour was excellent. Clear directions on meeting our host Valentina. Valentina was lovely. On short notice she adjusted the menu to support one of our our guest who was a vegetarian. She explained significant land marks on our food tour. The food was excellent. You do not have to eat dinner after this tour. Highly recommend.

Sacha was amazing! It felt like spending a day in Lucca with a good friend showing us all the things she loves about the town. We laughed and talked and enjoyed a gorgeous summer day in an incredible city. I loved the way it was structured, beginning with antipasti and ending with dessert
