Overview

Overall a very good experience and the hot ballon ride was amazing. Although the price seemed higher than other providers but we did not have any complaints so recommend this tour if you want to experience the hot balloon.

Captain Ramadan was brilliant!

We had a trip with Captain Ramadan and he was great, the journey from pick up to drop off was great. The hot air balloon ride was so smooth and we had a great Birds Eye view of the sunset and the tourist spots! They were also pointing different landmarks out as we passed. The landing was also very smooth, they called it the Egyptian landing!

last week me and three friends had a Great Hot Air Balloon trip with HODHODsuliman who apparently also support education about animal welfare in the area of Luxor. Yousry looked after us well and Omer was our pilot . Don’t worry about timing if the flight- it is just incredible once you are up there .

Balloon ride lasted for only 20 minutes. It was a very short one. More over it's not a sunrise ride which was promised. Don't know what is HOD HOD SOLIMON hype is about. Saw a tonnes of 5 star reviwes but trust me, they all start from same point, do the same thing and land at same location. DONT PAY TOP DOLLARS JUST BY THE NUMBER OF REVIEWS. Fellow riders paid much less than what this 5 starred service provider is offering.

The crew are hard working and professional. Communication was great. Allow extra time to make it back to hotel or another tour, we had a small delay with wind conditions they only fly if safe.

Enjoyable and safe experience. Getting to the balloon site seemed like organised chaos but the staff explained why there were delays along the way. Our original flight was cancelled due to bad weather. The company rearranged to the next day which was smooth and simple. We ended up going into a smaller balloon basket of only 16 people which meant we had more space and didn’t feel as tightly packed in. Our balloon ride was close to an hour and the landing was smooth by the pilot.

The pick up was late and there was no answer from the provided contact on WhatsApp. The flight only took about 40 minutes. However, the experience was great in general, since all ended up going according to plan. The crew were very nice and professional, and the pilot seemed very skilled. The flight was gentle, even the landing, and it was beautiful all the way through.

Highly recommended! It was magical! I didn't have to wait. Some others w other companies did. Hodhod give you c an hour. Make sure you do the trip where the sun rises during your flight. In December this means the 6am flight for a 6.30 sunrise. They also offered a 4.30 am flight when it would be dark.

We had an amazing time on this balloon tour! Yousry our guide was so kind and accommodating. Trip felt very safe throughout and we were up with plenty of time before sunrise. Definitely would recommend! They even helped us when we were having trouble arranging our bus for later in the day.
