Memorable experience

The whole experience was well-planned. Great customer service from the lovely Marolla who got in touch with me the day before to confirm the details. Picked up on time and taken to a boat on the East Bank. There was tea and coffee and biscuits while we waited for around 20 mins. We were picked up by a car on the West Bank and taken to the takeoff site. Since we were running a bit late for sunrise, the crew made sure to work fast so that we were up in the air to see the sunrise. The pilot made sure to give everyone a 360 degree view of the temples and rising sun. I cannot remember how long we were in the air for because I was too busy enjoying the sights. After the balloon landed smoothly, we were taken back to our original location. Marolla kindly arranged for me to be dropped off at Karnak temple instead of my hotel at no extra charge. Just be aware that you are not allowed any items including a professional camera. You can only take photos with your phone for safety reasons. A couple in my group seemed pretty upset that they could not take their camera. Would totally recommend this to anyone visiting Luxor.

Great Experience! The tour was seamlessly managed. The pick up was through a comfortable private car which took us to the port to cross the Nile. The boat was ready and waiting with some much needed coffee and we quickly reached the West Coast. Them we hopped on a minivan. Here, because of police rules, we had to wait for the convoy to be ready but we were quite comfortable. After a slight delay, we rushed to the take off location. The guide somehow ensured that we were in the first balloon up. We saw the sun rise over the Nile and the ancient Luxor monuments. We were in the air for around 40 minutes which was as promised. The company also invited us for a small breakfast later but we couldn't join as we had another plan soon after. All in all, superb organization with the private car, boat and balloon, great hospitality for a wonderful experience - all at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!

A truly breathtaking experience. This is a must do for anyone travelling to Luxor. It is a sight to behold!!! Just remember to bundle up if you’re doing this in winter :)

Once in a lifetime experience. Well worth it for the cost. Pickup was slightly delayed but easy. The view was incredible and beautiful and we could not have asked for a better experience.

The tour was great! But prior to the tour the communication with how and when we would be picked up wasn’t good at all. We didn’t hear anything back from the tour guide untill 12 hours before the tour started , after repeated phone calls…..but the ride was amazing and the staff were friendly

Wonderful Experience! Do it! When I decided to book this, my husband told me “hell no, leave me on the ground” lol. I convinced him and he and I loved it so much. It was one of those great experiences. The crew was amazing, everything was very well organized.

What a magical experience!! Tour operators were on time and super friendly.. everything went pretty smoothly. That hot air balloon ride felt like a cloud.. I am deathly afraid of heights, and at no point was I scared during this, which is AMAZING..lol! I was soo entranced by the beauty of the experience, the height didnt matter. The landing was smooth as butter.. met some cool people. You won't regret this experience!

An ok experience - worth the price

It was ok, they pick you up and mix you up with a bunch of people from other groups, not much explanation of what’s going on on the way, the flight itself was ok, you fly over some fields and see stuff around you - sunrise is nice. The time we were doing this (September 2021) there weren’t many balloons flying, but it must be more spectacular when many balloons fly. Done similar tour elsewhere - this is cheaper but during the time we did it, was less impressive. Worth doing tho !

Weather cancellation but good service

The ride got cancelled because of the weather. That’s not something any of can fix. They communicated the condition as things progressed and stayed professional in their standard. Although this was not what I expected, I believe they did what they could, refund process wasn’t too much of a trouble. Weather was the main reason for this cancellation and I believe they handled the situation well.

Great and safe trip! All liked it! Transportation from the hotel by bus, by boat across the Nile, and to the location by bus. Small breakfast on the boat: Tea or coffee with biscuits.

This balloon ride was excellent, great take of and landing, great piloting by Mr. Walid, smooth flight. We have done several balloon rides around the world and this one was one of the best. It would have been nice if we could have got close to the River Nile like some of the other balloons although of course we understand it goes according to the wind direction. Having a ladder to step up and step down was very helpful. Thank you again for this wonderful balloon ride.

amazing experience, everything was very well organised and well done. Pickup from the hotel at the announced time, then crossing the Nile to the West bank and the big show starts: first, inflating the balloon while the night is still on. Going up in the air everything was so smooth and quiet... then, the sunrise, then flying over the places we've visited before (thus, my recommendation would be to leave the Hot Air Balloon for the last day/days - but then you'll have the - very small - risk of unclement weather conditions...). Landing showed the excellent skills of the captain. I would say that 45-60 are absolutely enough but you should take the first flight so you can watch the uniques show of inflating the balloons then the sunrise. The only downside of the entire thing (possibly, there is an explanation but... still... it can be announced well in advance!) is that, without notice, during the evening before the flight you'll get an SMS asking quickly for photocopies of the passengers passports, the room number and hotel name; OK, this is for the police, transportation, etc - but most of the persons does not have these photos all the time with them, maybe they are not checking the phone every 5 minute or may do not have whatsapp (the only way to sent them the passports photos, BTW). So be prepared and have these things with you the evening before! Otherwise, I would do it again without hesitance! 5 stars in spades!

Must do when in Luxor especially with this ver cheap price. Pick up time you've choosed will be confirmed again by tour operator but driver showed up on time (ours @ 3.50 am) trip depends on key factor "wind" which we were lucky everthing went smooth from pick up transfer to balloon base and flight (no waiting long) Pilot was very professional which made flight was memorabled. PS. Check weather (wind condition) before booking (if possible) and your date can be flexibled.

Amazing and memorable experience, a highlight of my Egypt trip. Pickup and drop off went very smoothly. Watching the sun rise and seeing other hot air balloons at many different levels and seeing the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Hapshetsup underneath. were absolutely unique, exhilarating and beautiful!
