Please wait down your ship your guide will meet you there at the time specified. Meeting time may change, you will be informed 1 day earlier. IMPORTANT Last minute bookings (<24h) must call/txt whatsapp/mob number +33 782 007 347 to confirm availabilities. • If there is no one at the meeting point, the driver may be a little late. You can call +33 782 007 347 and you have to wait at least 30 minutes more before leaving the premises before asking any refund. • No refund greater than the amount paid can be granted. At the end, you will have choice to stay and spend time in the city then take a free shuttle back to ship or take our free shuttle van that will go back to the ship later in the afternoon (return time will be given at the end of the tour). No refund if our shuttle back is not used

What To Expect

When your cruise ship docks in Marseille, meet your guide at the cruise terminal. Then, transfer to the Marseille port and hop onto your electric bicycle to begin your cycling tour.

Spin through the city streets and take in top attractions including the Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilizations, the old port, and the Palais du Pharo—built in 1858 by Napoleon III. Explore the Vallon des Auffes—a traditional port outside the city—and listen as your guide sheds light on Marseille’s rich history.

Cycle along the Corniche Kennedy—widely considered among the most beautiful roads in Marseille—and stop along the way for panoramic coastal views. With your electric bike to help with the hills, you need much less peddle power to get around.

Visit the Notre Dame de la Garde basilica and gaze out over the rooftops of Marseille from your vantage point on the high hillside. Then, delve into diverse neighborhoods including the historic Panier district and the newer Joliette district—once an industrial hub.

When your cycling tour comes to an end, drop your bike off and return to the cruise terminal to conclude your ride.

You will be met at the cruise terminal by a driver holding a sign "E-Bike Tours". Please don't walk, just wait near your ship. Exact meeting time will be sent to you 5-3 days before the tour.
You must know how to ride a bicycle as you need to pedal all the time (easily).
Not wheelchair accessible
Riders must be more than 4,9ft (1m45) and less than 240lbs (120kg)
Children must be more than 12 years old to ride their own bicycle
Children must be accompanied by an adult
If children 10 years or younger are tall enough (4,9ft), they can ride a bicycle after their height is checked

Participants must not be afraid of riding on busy streets in close proximity with lots of cars
Infant seats available

As we start many tours at different times in the morning, so if you want to ride grouped with other people, send us a message with names and order number you plan to ride with. We will do our maximum to make you happy.

We went on a one week cruise and this was our favorite tour. We covered a lot of ground and learned a lot about Marseille. Our guide Stephan was very knowledgeable and fun. We stopped at a bakery too for some authentic pastries and baking as well. I would highly recommend this way of touring the city.

We had a great time on our half day electric bike tour with Fada Bikes! Stefan was an amazing guide and took us to places that we would not have seen had we biked on our own. He had a wealth of knowledge and gave us a lot of great information about the city of Marseille. The bike was very easy to use and even though there were times we had to ride on the road, we felt very safe. I would suggest if you are not comfortable on a bike, this may not be the best experience for you as there were times that you had to ride through crowds of people and through narrow alleyways. It did end up raining for most of our tour however we are really glad that we did the tour despite getting wet. I highly recommend Fada Bikes!!

This is a 2 hour bike tour max. We waited over an hour before we left, names mixed up and all wrong times given. A lot of confusion. The guid was great but not a half day.

Shop is a little hard to find-pay attention to owners directions. Make sure your bike has full battery power before tour. The bikes are okey and worked fine, but show a lot of wear. Our guide, Sabin was knowledgeable and gave us several opportunities to stop and enjoy the sights. We had no problem with the speed or inclines of the ride. This was one of the highlights of our vacation.

We had a 9:15 excursion and by 9:30 we had not heard were to meet them or seen anyone from the company so we made other plans as it was my wife’s birthday. I business they should be there way before we are not after and then tell us to take a different one some 3 hours later. As far as I am concerned this company did it to us twice and said both times it was our fault. Very rude customer service and hard to get in touch with anyone and no refunds. Run away folks run away.

Hello, so sorry you missed our driver. Meeting time was 9:15am, and at 8:48 (??), you sent a rude message to say there is nobody to meet you ... you are disapointed ... you will leave a bad review...!! Then, you sent another message to say you waited untill 9:18am... That day, we were at meeting point with a sign (right down the ship) at 8:45am, shouting "E-Bike tours ? Anybody for an ebike tour ?" Then we came back at 9:15 again, and you were not there... That day, 14 other people were picked up at the ship and we found them, and they found us easily. I sent a last message to say we could pick you up at 1pm as other people booked a tour from the same ship at that time and you never answered... We always do our best to satisfy our customers, ALWAYS. This is why we do not fear bad reviews because most of the time they are unfair to the efforts we make.

Great way to see the city

Fantastic way to see the city. Marie was our guide and showed us areas we would not have seen in a bus or walking tour. We were able to appreciate the beauty of the city by covering a lot of ground while getting a little bit of exercise!

I waited 45 minutes being totally ignored, the tour started very late, was then was put on a German tour ( the lad tried his hardest to accommodate english too ) then went on a really dull tour of a bit of the city, mainly looking at churches - learned almost nothing and most of the time was left to just wander around. I love bike tours. This was truly rubbish

We are very sorry that you had a bad experience. If you waited 45 minutes, maybe you should have gone to the door marked “Check In” to get information? As for the German group, it is in fact clearly indicated in the tour description that the tour can be operated bilingually. If you do not want to have other people who speak another language on a tour, you should not choose a small shared group but a private one, or not travel at all. As for the content of the tour with Nathan, if you haven't learned anything from our guide who has a PhD in history, it's because you haven't listened to him. We wish you a good day.

Chaotic bike tour

Nathan was a great guide but this was a very chaotic tour. The city is not made for bikes. There is glass everywhere, aggressive traffic and the extreme wind made the dramatic hills difficult. I wish I would have listened to the poor reviews.

Great 3 1/2 hr day trip cruising the streets of Marseille! Moderate exercise at most with one steep climb up to the Basilca - spectacular views of the city with really interesting history thrown in. Iris was a crazy lady blowing through the pedestrians and keeping the tour moving!

A bit scarry, but well worth it

Loved the beautiful views of the sea as we bicycled along the coast of Marseille! It was a wonderful way to see the city, its setting, and some key sites. However, it was physically challenging even with the electric booster (I am in my fifties). And, it was a bit scarry initially as I learned to use this type of bike. But it was well worth it. Many thanks to Nathan who was a great guide!

I did no expect to drive in the middle of Marseille traffic which was a bit stressful. Definitely not for kids and beginners bikers. The ride was too close to cars for my comfort. Also, one of my brakes did not work on my right side going dowhill so I fell down and scraped my knee and elbow. The hill was like the ones in San Francisco so I suggest the bikes get checked before going on them. The guide Lucy was great! She was very friendly and knowledgeable. She took us to amazing places.

boatside pickup never arrived due to traffic. asked us to get a cab. Next cab driver in line told us the cab was expensive and to walk a km to a shuttle. We didn't want to and asked him again, he wouldn't take us to the address given by the pickup driver. pickup said he would arrive in 15 minutes. we waited 30 then I texted him. said he had been there and didn't see us. we had been where he asked (in front of the shops) the entire time. we told him we didn't trust this tour due to the current experience and please refund us. apparently he came back anyway but we had already re-boarded the ship

Our tour guide, Silva, did a great job explaining the use of the bikes and providing a history of the city. It was great exercise as you can adjust the settings to your desired level and a fun way to learn about the city. You need to feel confident to ride in city traffic alongside motor vehicles.

Fabulous but not with kids!

Incredible way to explore Marseille!! They picked us up directly from the boat exit and bright us back on perfect time. Trust that process! Adults only! As a mom, I would never bring my kids it would be very stressful with the traffic. But highly recommend this excursion for cruisers!
