Must Do Miami Tour🍽

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour! By far, this is my favorite of several walking tours I've experienced while passing time in Miami. Our guide, Daniel, was very knowledgeable in sharing the rich history and heritage. He enriched the tour even more by entwining his own personal story, thus taken it up another notch. The food samples are an excellent representation of Cuban culture and is delish! I highly recommend this tour!!!

Perfect little walking tour of food and culture!

This lovely little tour is so wonderful, especially with Maria Kali as our guide! She knew the history of Cuba and the area known as "little Havana" very well. We saw the community sites, reviewed the history of the Bay of Pigs invasion, drank some sugarcane juice, guarapo, ate some sweet and savory pastries, listened to some music, saw cigar making, looked at art and windowshopped for guayaberas plus drank some cuban coffee! Least, but not last, we went for a huge lunch and some of us splurged and had a delicious mojito with our meal. The food was good and filling and, we ate in a pretty outdoor shaded patio. Finally, we finished off our day with Cuban ice cream. It was delicious and you'll have to take the tour to find out more!

The guide, Kayan, was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable that the 3 hour tour was never boring. The food was great, and lots of variety. I loved watching the domino players in Domino Park.

I enjoyed learning about the history of Cuba and the Little Havana area, as well as visiting a few local shops and eateries. I would perhaps recommend shortening the introductory history talk (or incorporating it later throughout) to make time for some local music! It’s a great introduction to the area in order to give you ideas about where to spend time next on your own as you take it all in.

Not worth the price

The tour was far from satisfactory, leaving us feeling more like walking money bags than curious travelers. We were shuttled from door to door, with little more to do than to pad the pockets of local merchants. The focus was predominantly on selling us goods rather than enriching us with the historical and cultural significance of each location. It felt less like a guided tour and more like an orchestrated shopping spree. The overall experience was disheartening, turning what should have been an educational journey into an exercise in commercial exploitation.
