Overview

Take a few hours out for a bit of relaxation with this private tour on the Great River. Your driver will pick you up at your hotel and take you to Lethe, where you'll board a private bamboo raft and float downstream, taking in views along the way. As an added bonus, your raft driver will give you a foot massage using naturally occurring limestone.

You can select your pickup time. It takes anywhere between 25-40 minutes ride from Hotels/Resorts in Montegobay To get to location. Tour lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 mins On the day of pickup we guarantee that our driver will be at your hotel or resort on time to meet you. You can identify our representative by looking for The CarvilleToursja Logo or just telling the bell desk or front desk the tour that your doing along with the company name , they can help you to locate us as well.

What To Expect

Relax in nature while enjoying a quintessential Jamaican experience with this bamboo rafting private tour from Montego Bay.

Enjoy pickup from your Montego Bay hotel or vacation rental and transfer to Lethe in a private, air-conditioned vehicle. Board the 30-foot (9-meter) bamboo raft for two people and let a certified raft captain steer you down the river, while providing insights on local history. Soak up the scenery, relax, go for a swim, or purchase food and drinks from the riverside vendors.

Before your tour ends, your raft captain will give you a soothing limestone foot massage using limestone paste made from river rocks. You’ll get dropped off at your hotel at the end of the tour.

This was the most fun of our trip! 10/10 for sure with the right guide.it was 7 of us and we had more fun than my sisters. Their tour guide was new and didn’t give the best service. Charles was most attentive and AJ was entertaining. I broke out from the lime stone message later that day but that’s not their fault. I guess I’m allergic or something. This is most fun with a group!

Our driver Michael was very prompt when picking us up and went out of his way to make us comfortable the whole ride there and back. He was very personable and informative! ugh! everything was so perfect. from the time the driver picked us up, till the time he dropped us off back at the hotel. the rafting was such a beautiful experience! and so was the person who was with us on the water he was so energetic! honestly this review does no justice it was nothing but amazing!

So much fun! The rafters Daedae and Alex made sure we had a good time. Our friend dropped her phone in the water twice and the rafters did their best to to find her phone... and they did! They really do care. Our driver dropped us off at an authentic jamaican spot afterwards. I would book with them again.

The driver picks you up early from your place and waits for you til your done with the activity. Unfortunately, the rafting only took about <30 minutes, that includes many stops. The coconut was overpriced, $5 USD or $700 jamaican dollar but the guy dont have a change for a $1000 (atleast thats what he said. it's noontime so I highly doubt that he has no change), so keep the change it is. Our driver gave us sweet mango for free. He wasnt very interactive compared to the other drivers that I saw from other rafts . They entertained their passengers well. But we safely got in & out of the raft with no injuries. Foot massage was really good. and ofcourse nature, the clear water from the river. Sadly, they throw fruit peels on it/ plastic floating. The tour was fun but for the price, I dont think it's worth it. I would expect atleast a little longer tour and not taking advantage for overpricing tourists.

Everything was perfect from my driver being at my hotel early to the rafter being very welcoming. I was given coconut water, mangoes, could hook up my phone on the speaker to play music and plenty of pics & videos. Highly recommend if your thinking about it
