What To Expect

Make your way to a meeting point near Parc Jeanne-Mance, where you’ll join a local guide and get fitted with a bicycle. Hop on your bike and pedal towards Mont Royal Park, the gateway to the gentle mountain in the city center, then continue to the McGill University Campus.

From there, you’ll ride the longest protected bike path in Montreal and explore the narrow streets of Old Montreal, where cobblestones and historic architecture give the neighborhood an atmospheric, European feel. Here and throughout the tour, the guide will stop to share a bit of history and fun Montreal facts, with time to ask questions about the things you see along the way.

Continue to the edge of the St. Lawrence River and the Old Port, a favorite destination for local walkers and cyclists, then loop back to the starting point in the Plateau/Mont Royal neighborhood. Your tour concludes at the starting point with a light refreshment.

Felt ripped off when I discovered the price listed is in USD. I understand that it's an American company, but the tour is in Canada, so it should be clearly indicated.

No waterfront on bike tour

Tour was great minus we never went to the waterfront. That was a big part as why we chose this particular tour.Dissappointed but enjoyed still. Wish the stops were shorter with little less talking more biking.Some stops felt a little too long.Tour guide was knowlegeable and gave us a taste of Montreal minus waterfront.

Exceptional tour with Martin

This was an excellent tour of Montreal led by our memorable guide Martin, who took us through all the main areas of this beautiful city he obviously loves. He was very knowledgeable and made the tour very interesting by explaining all the historical details with clarity and humor. He was also kind enough to give us recommendations about places and restaurants. This was also the day when we were able to watch the eclipse so we will remember this experience for a long time. The waterfront was beautiful! Did not stop at Notre Dame basilica. We spent the first hour riding and looking at street art and graffiti.

Wow, we went all over Montreal with Darren connecting the dots through history, politics and current events and I’m sure a bit of lore. At the end he gave us tips on restaurant, shopping, and other points of interest. Our first city bike tour and it was great! Highly recommend!

Our tour guide Jeff was great. He was knowledgeable and funny. Gave is an excellent tour. It was fun trip overall. Good for young kids around 8 or older.

I highly recommend this tour! Andree did a great job sharing history and facts along the way and the city is beautiful! It was not a challenging ride since you stop often to hear about the different parts of the city. I do recommend bringing water!

Had a really enjoyable tour with Jeff. Super knowledgable tour guide (history teacher and Montréal local) with perfect English, lots of stories and anecdotes to share and a very enjoyable and entertaining way of presenting information. We are a family of 4 with 2 teenagers and we absolutely loved it. It’s one of those tours that makes you really experience the city and it’s neighborhoods and fall in love with the city. Note that some of the riding happens on downtown streets and while the cars seemed very respectful of the bikers, it definitely requires certain proficiency of biking and comfort level with street riding. Overall very satisfied with the tour.

Awesome way to explore Montréal! Bikes were new and comfortable. Our guides Martin and his assistant were wonderful. Martin made the history of Montréal come alive with his engaging personality. We had our 4 year old son on a child bike seat and he also enjoyed the tour.
