Explore Old Québec, the historic heart of French Canada and the capital of the province of Québec, with its narrow streets, stone buildings, and European feel and learn about the city's history and culture.

Visit Place Royale, often referred to as the birthplace of French America, and the beautiful Plains of Abraham, where the famous Battle of Québec between the French and English armies took place in the Seven Years’ War in 1759.

Then follow Avenue Royale through the traditional villages and farms of the Beaupre Coast, just north of Québec City to visit Montmorency Falls, a 272-foot (83-meter) waterfall on the Montmorency River (taller than Niagara Falls).

After the tour, there is ample time to explore Old Québec at leisure. The tour ends with a return trip to Montreal and hotel drop-off.

Absolutely fabulous trip. Definitely a highlight of the holiday. Roger ( Bruce) was an amazing guide. He was informative, funny and shared lots of great anecdotal stories along the way. Quebec is just stunningly beautiful as was the frozen waterfalls. This was definitely worth the 2 and a Half hour drive each way. Would highly recommend

Great Tour of Quebec from Montreal
BrianMoore, Apr 2024
The bus driver and tour guide were both exceptional: Incredibly engaging and knowledgeable. The tour company took away all potential stress involving a trip to Quebec: the communicated extremely well on the time and place of pickup and dropoff (right from out hotel !). The guides provided fascinating context on Quebec. Quebec astounded me with it's beauty and history! Well worth the trip.
Goblin experience

Seeing the magnificent Quebec while listening to a very thorough narrative of the history of the city. Even the driver was very nice and knowledgeable
Great Introduction to Quebec City
Cristin_P, Apr 2024
This tour was a great opportunity to get a taste on Quebec City while I was staying in Montreal. Roger, our tour guide, was so knowledgeable about the city and its history. He truly made the experience both educational and fun. The downtime in the city after the visit to Montmorency was also appreciated to be able to do some eating, shopping, and individual sight seeing in the area.
Couldn't have been better!

Bus driver, Serge and Quebec City guide, Katia made this a great trip! Knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond! It is a long day so be prepared.

Our guide in Quebec City...

Our guide in Quebec City was excellent. He is very knowledgeable and articulate and explained the history of the place in detail (in English)
Won’t repeat

The guide was very boring. He kept laughing at his own jokes that were not funny at all. We were never given instructions when we needed to return back to the bus.
Beatiful day at Quebec City!

This was a very nice experience. Our bus driver and tour guide were very corteous and polite. It was impressive how our tour guida, named Katya, was able to switch to English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and German super fast and without an accent!. Also, her knowledge of history was impressive as she shared it with the group during the walking tour. The trip to Quebec City takes around 3 hours (6 hrs roundtrip). The driver was very polite and helpful. Also, we went to see the Montmorancy falls. It was beautiful! We had a 3 hr free time ( without a guide). We were back at around 8 pm. Overall highly recommended!
Take the tour!

Quebec City is a must-see for anyone visiting the Montreal area. Our tour guide, Lynn, was very knowledgeable, and she made the the trip so much fun. Serge, our driver, made sure that we knew where the bus would be parked, and was also very kind.
My daughter and I loved...

My daughter and I loved our day trip to Quebec. Our guide, Roger was very engaging, a thoroughly knowledgeable historian and very entertaining. He made the day great fun. Our coach driver Serge was wonderful and he clearly explained how long the drive would take, when we would stop for a break, what time to be back on the bus and when we would return to Montreal. The hotel pick up and drop off service was a bonus. I highly recommend this tour of beautiful Quebec.

Enjoyable tour

My friends and I really enjoyed this trip. Roger was a great tour guide, who was very friendly, knowledgeable, and funny too! We enjoyed leaning about the history of Quebec while walking around the city. We didn't get to eat anything until closer to 2:30pm... so grabbing or bringing some snacks is a good idea to help hold you over until there is free time to wander around the city and grab a bite to eat.
Great day, and great destinations!
Alexis_C, Feb 2024
Quebec City is such a piece of paradise! This was a wonderful trip, even if a long day. Serge was a fabulous driver, making our day-trip a wonderful experience! Also, Roger was a very knowledgeable tour guide for our time in Quebec—with his decades of years of experience in the business. Thank you!
More about the history
Christine_P, Jan 2024
The time spent in Quebec City is limit , more time is spent in pickup, bus travel, break stops and history provide by the guide . Though the guide is good I believe as a tourist I would like more time to get off the bus and take a few pictures and get to walk around the historic places . Most of the trip we are in the bus for Plains of Abraham I sat on the opp side I didn’t get a chance to look at it , this was for most of the other historic sites . We were given about 3.5 hours to explore the city by ourselves which includes lunch .My recommendation is not to book this trip and not to waste your precious time as you will spend time in the bus and not in the city
Quebec City is a must to visit
Abner_V, Jan 2024
The entire tour was awesome. Quebec City is a must if you’re in the Montreal area and this tour provides for such a great experience. Don’t miss it for the world. It was our favorite place to visit.
Well worth the visit

The tour guide we picked up in Quebec was extremely knowledgeable and a great historian. We were provided adequate time to visit all sites.
Worth the long day

It snowed at the Falls and in town so it made the trip more memorable. The trip was full on with the bus trip of 3 hours each way. On arrival Rodger was our guide, so well informed and well spoken in English and French and even taught us to say Quebec correctly. I would have preferred a smaller group as the 55 seater bus was full and not everyone listened to all the great info Rodger had. Also a great driver, very safety conscious and slowed so we could enjoy the sights of upper town from the bus.
